An advanced cycling computer with the latest technologies and interactive features.

You, your Phone and Lezyne GPS: The Cycling Trinity. Our brand new GPS range now works in harmony with your Smartphone, making it the ultimate cycling device. Use mapping from the Lezyne GPS Root website to follow a route, tackle Strava KOMs and QOMs with our Live Segments feature and stay connected with phone notifications direct to your GPS unit. These feature-rich GPS computers now have enhanced accuracy with an internal accelerometer to give you the best possible data about your ride or race.

The Super GPS is an advanced cycling computer programmed with the latest technologies and interactive features. At its core, the device offers ultra reliable ride tracking by combining three forms of measurements: GPS/Glonass, which tracks the rider; a barometer, which measures atmospheric pressure and balances out elevation; and an accelerometer (detects movement), which cancels out GPS "drift" and saves battery life. Advanced data and training information can be collected when paired to a power meter, heart rate monitor or a speed/cadence sensor through the device’s ANT+™ and/or Bluetooth Smart connections. Furthermore, when paired to an iOS or Android smart phone, the unit offers many more advanced options. The Super GPS can display incoming text messages, emails and phone calls, along with turn-by-turn navigation and Strava Live Segments, when paired with the free Lezyne Ally app. Additionally, the display can be personalized to show just the basics, or all the bells and whistles, with up to five customizable pages to navigate. And its best-in-class battery has a runtime of up to 24 hours.

General information about our shipping
I've used this for c.230 km, including in a 200 km Audax, so this review addresses set-up & short term impressions. Hitherto I've used phone apps (Strava, RidewithGPS etc). I've no experience with Garmins or other bike computers, tho I have used simple wired ones. The device seems well built & a good size. The set-up was intuitive & easy straight out of the box, no real need to consult the manual, tho' there is one available online. It paired quickly with my phone and cadence/speed sensors (I don't have a HR monitor yet). The mount is secure and fits easily to my bars, stem, or light extension. It remained securely in place throughout a fairly rough 200 km ride & I feel confident it won't be an issue. I find the screen very legible in all light conditions and it is for my purposes more than adequately customisable. It can be set up to auto-scroll thru screens while riding. The operating buttons work well and IMO are preferable to a touch screen (I tried touch screens on Garmins in a shop and thought they'd be problematic while riding, esp. when there's rain or sweat involved). The Lezyne GPS Root website & GPS Ally phone app to which the data is sent are straight forward and simple. The GPS Root ride data display is useful and well presented. It can be set up to link automatically to Strava and did this seamlessly. The route mapping process via GPS Ally has so far worked well, tho' notifications of turns could phps come a little earlier. The data incl. temperature I recorded on the 200 km ride seemed accurate and the GPS record of the trail was impeccable. The battery life was impressive, the audax was quite mountainous and I took time out for cups of teas, leisurely lunch etc, so riding time was 9 hr 48 min, elapsed time 12 hr 20 min, in temperatures varying from 2 to 16 deg C (averaging c.10 deg C across the day). I had the device set up to automatically scroll thru four screens. The battery started at 98% and by the end was showing 74%. Given that I played around with the device more than I probably will once I'm used to it, I thought this was pretty impressive and if it continues to perform like that should present no problems in recording 400 km, or even 600 km Audaxes. Lezyne state that the device can be used while charging, too. I don't like getting phone calls while riding so I haven't tried the phone notification process and have no idea if it works: the phone does pair easily tho'. My only reservation so far is that Lezyne states in its ads & its manual that you can upload GPX trails (made in something like RidewithGPS, for instance) thru the GPS Root website, which means navigation of A to B to C to D routes (turn by turn on roads or breadcrumb trails off road) should be possible. However, the tab for this on GPS Root only returns a message saying "Coming soon, November 2016". I certainly hope this feature does indeed arrive soon, but even without it (remember that there is turn by turn routing from point A to point B available on the road via the phone app) so far I'm impressed by the Super GPS Enhanced and think it's good value. Being able to upload GPX files will transform it to outstanding. Hopefully, it'll show the same durability as other Lezyne products I've used (pumps, tools, bottle cages). I'll try to update this review in a few months.
High Cost-Efficiency. Pros : Speed/Ascent/Location sensitivity w/o additional speed sensor, BLE connection w/ Sony Xperia X and Mio Fuse, and Battery life are very good :). Cons : Firmware update have to check manually from Lezyne web site and all settings gone after update :(.
