Great jacket for the winter months, excellent quality at a great price. I usually wear medium in Cycling clothes but after reading some reviews I ordered a large and it fits great ontop of a base layer.
Keeps me warm during cold rides. Amazing!!!
Keeps me warm on my early morning rides. It is a good deal for the price.
Ordered XL, even that's a bit tight on the arms. Normally L is fine. Looks good quality, yet to try for warmth.
Good quality fabric and well constructed. Sizing accurate. Good for autumn or spring. Looks smart as well.
Bought this to keep warm pedalling through winter months and not disappointed. Went for medium size which fits nicely over a base layer (5ft 9" with 39" chest). Doesn't ride up around waist and no flappy bits in wind. Good deep pockets on back. So key thing is the warmth. First ride out temperature was around 5C and the arms were a little cold for the first few miles but once I'd got the blood flowing it was fine. Been through low temp wash a couple of times now and no shrinkage so all good. Definitely recommend this at the price with usual fast delivery from Merlin.
Great fit, good long sleeves. The weave is tight and reasonably windproof although on colder days I layer above it. The sale price made it a bargain - cheaper even than the decathlon offerings.
I found this a very good lighter jacket overall...the material is not as thick as a softshell however its great when paired with a baselayer and there's enough room to put a jersey underneath...I would say sizing is a little tighter than with the Leggero jersey so maybe go a size up...I'm rotund (45" chest with a bit of extra belly, 6ft and 105kg) and my arms are quite muscley (that`s not a boast and I don't work out) so a fair bit of circumference around the biceps..my shoulders are moderately beefy and I found the XL was a bit tight round the tummy; the zip was sometimes hard to start, but at the same time this is meant to be quite a racy fit (I don't mean racy as in sexy) and the garment has an elasticity to the fabric that cinches you in reasonably tightly. It feels quite slinky, which I like and the arms look almost like a plasticky speedsuit kind of material. It doesn't take the place of a windstopping jacket but took me down to about 8-10 degrees C with competence. I really like the design of all the Lusso tops, the back has quite a lot of white on the back. If you go for reflective detailing, this would be worth considering. The sleeves come up longer for the size than maybe expected, but not prohibitively so...usefully so. I like to support Lusso as they are a great, british-based family company who offer great service. I can see this being used from about late September to March. Overall a reasonable price for a pretty useful garment. Hope this helps.
Good quality and value for money. Really warm and 4th zip pocket ideal for keys /phone. Excellent customer service from Merlin as usual.
Great insulated jacket for those in between days and your not sure what to wear. I wear this with just a base layer underneath which is fine, or you could also wear a windstopper underneath for added protection. When you first go out it feels a bit cold but once you're warmed up it's just fine. Nice snug fit for those that don't like anything flapping about.
Great jacket, unsure what to expect but this is a great well made garment, three pockets and a zipped pocket well pleased as good as a more expensive jacket. Great price and delivery from Merlin.
Well designed jacket and good blend of colours for a fashionable stand out from the crowd.
