Jan Bright and strong rear light - easy to mount either on seat post or seat stay.
Smokesreen Great light. Very aero. Looks very unobtrusive on the bike and stays in position very well (unless physically knocked), i.e. it doesn't shift around due to bumps unlike some other aero-post lights I've seen used by others. Flash mode gives good long life, although I think it could be improved by having the flash a little more frequent...on the lowest level it seems just a little too slow for my liking. Such a good light that I bought it twice.
Smokesreen I was reticent about buying an aero seatpost light because whenever I see them on other people's bikes, they've invariably slid sideways on the seatpost and don't seem to stay in a rear facing position. However, I decided to give it a try, and, so far, on the one long ride I did with it, the light didn't move at all. It comes with 2 different thicknesses of rubber gasket to choose from, and the thin one seems to work well at holding it in position. The one flaw in this design is the failure to have a waterproof cover for the USB port., which sits open underneath the rubber mounting gasket, so I could see how, on very wet days, there's a chance that water could get into the port and ruin the light. We'll see how it holds up over time. It provides a good range of flashing/steady modes but I'd like to see it with a better run-time. I quite regularly do 150km plus rides and I'd like to know that it will last 6 hours or so on steady flasing modes. Time will tell if it can reliably sustain steady flash mode over that kind of duration. So far so good, so it gets 4 stars for design and build quality.
Pat B This is my second purchase of this light. I like it a lot, so I got a second one to keep as a spare, cause let's face it, it always stops working when you need it most! This way I can just put one on the charger while I use the fresh backup.
Pat B Very nice light. Impressively bright, will get a second one for my other bike.
Glenn Bright!! So bright. Fits nice on different saddle posts (different size connectors). The several modes of light are very useful. I use the lowest light blinking mode to extend time....and it is more than bright enough! Great light.
Mr Roberts Great light. Easy to set up. Multiple rubber mounts included depending on which size seat post and where you want to mount this light.
Mr HB I use it for day time. Low flashing mode has a good battery time yet enough brightness for most.
Mr Fieldhouse Light is what I was expecting but I do not like the Velcro strap to fix it to the bike much prefer the fixing on the previous model
NivramKSA No problems now riding at night with this super rear light. Love it!
Ed This light works nicely. The attachment mechanism (O-rings that stretch around the seat tube) seems a bit weaker than screws or rubber sockets. I would prefer another attachment mechanism if I were taking my bike off the road.
Currie Cracking light which pumps out alot of light. Fits nicely on the back of the seat post and is very aero. The only thing I didn't check was the size - it only just fits between seatpost clamp and the bottom of the saddle. Obviously an issue specific to my bike but worth checking as you can't change the mount to turn it horizontally. Hopefully this light will last longer than others lately but I'm impressed so far!
Mr Fairbanks Fits easily and securely but easy to remove. Bright with enough options but seems a little slow to re-charge
Mr Tan Good for visibility, great little gadget. Battery is only 500mAh but what can you expect from a small light.
Pitpilot The light is nice and bright, the only downside compared with the previous model is the ease of taking it on and off the bike for charging.
Jonathan Easy to put on and take off and can crank it up to a really bright flashing mode. Great back light
