WilliamMoon are, in my opinion, the best value lights available. Well-engineered from high-quality materials. The beam pattern is ideal for riding on unlit roads.
Jersey socksExcellent product. Day function just what I needed. Very versatile unit. Highly recommend and great value.
Mr AddisonGood for about 50' of visibility in the dark which is very sufficient for what I paid for the light. Lasts about 3 hours on high beam.
JamesFirst, let me say that there is simply no light out there that even comes close to competing with this light for its versatility, its value, the quality of the mount, the operational run times for the output you get for both daytime and nightime use, the compact size, and amazingly light weight of the light. I have a number of Cygolite models that are near competitor lights and Moon crushes Cygolite on all but one feature which is STEADY PULSE night time operation. Once after sundown, it is best to have a steady, powerful front light but having a strobe light as well really makes youmuch more visible to oncoming traffic and pedestrians. SInce the Moon Meteor-X Auto Pro is ridiculously inexpensive, you can replicate the Cygolite steady Pulse feature simply by using two Moon Meteors or any other inexpensive strobe light. Getting two Moon Meteor's also gives you a spare battery option at a fraction of the cost of using expensive Cygolite Expilion models for spare batteries which cost $40. This is also true of the Moom Vortex models where you bump up to better output for night riding as well as a battery level indicator and mode indicator which is nice but not needed if you really do not plan to ride after sunset. For the money, Cygolite, Niterider, and others can not compete with this light. The removable battery that allows you to buy two Meterors to get the steady pulse feature plus a spare battery is just a deal you should not pass up. Remember that in daylight lighting mode, this compact light goes for 47 hours of 700 lumen strobing. There is nothing to compare to this outside of other Moon lights.
Mr BenitezGreat product much brighter than expected!
Mrs Dahoraquality product, easy installation. Illumination range is excellent
GailCompact and secures well on the handlebars. Easy to operate and good light levels for a small unit.
Mr RABAUDExcellent quality and very powerful light. Bright enough to be used for night trail ride.
Mrs Shepherd majhensekWe had this brand of lights before but this model is level up from the previous one and it didn't disssapoint.
Tal from AustraliaStrong light. I bought it for the daylight flashing mode (450 lumens, apparently 45hrs runtime). Haven't burnt through the first charge yet, but I'm interested to see if it actually lives up to the 45hr battery life, given lights of the same size/weight usually have a flashing life of about 10 hrs max. This mode is seriously bright, and I've no doubt that I am more visible to cars in the daylight than I was without it. A couple of things I'd like to see changed though: the flash frequency is a bit odd, it flashes twice quickly, then a break of about 1 or 1.5 secs. I would rather sacrifice 10hrs of the supposedly 45hr battery life to have continuous flashing, which is much more visible. Also, the toggle between auto and manual modes is a bit finicky. The daytime flash is likely NOT 700 lumens each flash. The numbers going around the web are inconsistent, but the box claims it is 450 lumens.
Mr HughesFantastic light, very visible with a high number of settings for different conditions. Also very good to illuminate very dark paths as well as roads with lots of glare from car lights. Also held up on a very wet ride. Highly recommend.
Mr ÇetinThis is a very perfect front lamp changing night to daylight, thanks for fast delivery
ChrispFantastic compact light. The 2nd Moon light I have had (the first lasted around 5 years of solid use). Run time is good and the light is nice and bright.
YMExcellent features in a compact package. Flexibilty and choice of 7 modes. Highly recommended!
van Ommen KloekeMy first serious bike light. Quite compact and bright. Heavier than I anticipated. But happy with it so far. Haven't tested battery life yet. Very sturdy and the memory function is a benefit.
Ms barfootYou can't go wrong with this light, so bright and easy to take on and off the handlebars with no tools. easy to charge up and use.
TRMExactly what it says it is. Good illumination with a varitity of settings. The flashing modes are as bright as you could need for cycling in a city. The constant mode also provides enough light for areas that are not street lit. Design is a little retro but as it functions well, 5 stars
Mr AgutoGood for commuting. Bright enough to see on unlit road
Mr RaPurchased this as a set with the Arcturus Auto Rear Light. I love the fact that I can enable the auto on/off feature and the brightness levels are excellent. The fact that I can rotate position as well as replace the battery in future makes this a very good choice for a light. Excellent battery life as I have been using it for the past 3-4 days for a few hours a day without any need to recharge. Have yet to try in darker conditions but am not concerned at this point and time.
