The Moon XP500s is an ultra bright 500 lumen USB rechargeable front light. The Cree XML LED really does deliver, you'll be clearly visible on the roads. A quick release, tool free handlebar bracket makes fitting and removal extremely easy - in a matter of seconds.

As this light is USB rechargeable (and mains rechargeable) you can simply plug the light in at work for your ride home. Outstanding - very bright, well made, compact, easy charging method - superb.
Seriously bright and well built. Have only used it for a few days so can't comment on its longevity or battery consumption in each mode, etc., but the build quality seems good and I don't expect problems. Provides plenty of light for poorly lit areas.
Excellent light. Very bright so be courteous to oncoming drivers. Lights up the forest tracks here in NZ real well.
Excellent product. Use it on a tandem which needs good lights to see the ground ahead. Use the flash mode when in lit streets to be seen, and full constant beam when on un-lit lanes. Charging is easy with the USB into the laptop. Highly recommend this item
Battery on full power doesn't last very long (~1hr) but using the medium setting you get enough light and 3-4 hrs use. Would recommend.
Great Light & Great Service
I knew it would be good because a mate has the Moon XP300. It is really well built, very neat and compact and self contained, so no wires connecting to an external battery.
Last Wednesday a few of us set off at 7pm for trails through the dark woods. By 7.30pm, if we turned our lights off it was pitch black. We were out for a good 2 hours, flying down twisty trails having the most fun I have ever had on a bike.
Very bright, easy to charge, easy to mount and remove.
I ordered it at 1pm, got an e-mail at 1.30 to say it had been dispatched and got it the next day. You can't do better than that. Free post too !!!!
Very good light, bought at a very competitive price. Use it on unlit country lanes and lights up the road sufficiently for 30mph+ descents [better than the Hope 1led been using before] Warning light for recharge at max beam comes on after 1hr.
Excellent light, easily enough light for riding quickly at night on unlit country roads. Very good value. Only very minor niggle is that the catch for removing the light from its mount is very stiff and a little fiddly.
This light is great. I have been using this at nights over the last couple of weeks and cars actually dip there headlights when they see the beam coming towards them (a first). I use it on the lowest setting and it is still bright enough to use on my 30 mile back road course. I have not used this in the rain yet so cannot comment on how waterproof or rain-proof this product is. It is easy to fit and use and is not too big as to cutter up the handlebars. Recommended.
Great light. Extremely bright with lots of settings including flashing. I use the light to commute mainly in areas with street lights but I have used it on unlit roads and it was very good.
The light itself is nice and compact and seems to be of very good build quality. The bracket is tool free and fits on both my bikes which have standard and oversized bars.
The USB charging function is extremely handy as it means I can recharge it at work in my laptop ready for the ride home.
I previously had a cateye el500 which was ok as long as you were in well lot areas but also meant that I had to keep replacing batteries or recharging them.
Quite expensive at full price but with the discount it is well worth the money.
Very bright light. More compact than it looks in the pictures. Good enough to do 15+ mph in the dark. Nice spread of light with a bright spot extendng from approx 12ft ito 25ft in front of you, with a good spread of diffused light closer to the bike. Run time on hightest power seems to be around 90mins. Have used in torrential rain with no problems. Needs careful adjustment on hanlebars so as not to blind motorists.
