Very good and reasonably quick overseas delivery. Product as described and will be worn home tonight. Will do more business with Merlin in future. So far the shoes have been great. Normally size 48 Sidi, these fit larger and are truer to size. I am a 47. Room for two or three layers as required. Worn down to zero degrees C so far with 2 pairs of merino socks with no cold feet. Sweat wasn't as bad as I thought it would be either - hardly any. They are comfortable and I will be buying a pair for mountain biking as well.
If you`re looking at these then you`re probably like me, fed up with cold wet feet, I've tried different socks loads of covers none of which are waterproof and after a couple of hours cold feet. Then I had an epiphany, the penny dropped, I don't use my summer gloves with covers on in winter I use my winter gloves, so I bit the bullet and ordered these. No more cold wet feet the only place for the water to get in is at the top, a pair of 4 inch gripgrab gaiters sorted that. Now size, I like my shoes quite tight and a 45.5 in sidi is just right which equates to a 44 in these. A little awkward to get on and off first time out but after a few times its a piece of cake. Look the part and I highly recommend them.
