Mr cosseyGreat stand very sturdy and well made it will make repairs much easier
Mr PuttickHeavier than I expected and, therefore, very sturdy. The bottom bracket support is a bit strange, particularly with modern wider shells. Nevertheless a nice bit of kit, works well and holds the bike securely (as long as the velcro bb strap is used). At the price, it would have been nice if the tool tray was included and not an optional
Mr NelmsFantastic piece of kit. Puts the bike at easy working height and allows either one or both of the wheels out. Well packaged and arrived very promptly, I'll certainly use Merlin again!
Mr WalkerThis stand is the best thing I have bought, nearly as good as my bike itself ha ha. It really is invaluable and I don't know how I managed before I had it. And at the Merlin price even better.
Mr bainbridgeA very good work stand. I prefer these to the ones that hold the seat post. Makes working on the bike so much easier. Highly recommend
Mr MonaghanThis is a great workstand, very stable and perfect if you have a carbon fibre frame since it is not clamped. Arrived day after I placed the order and Merlin was the best price again!
Mr MorrisGood stand overall, for the price, the bit that knocks a star off is he strap, which 1) doesn't fit in the holder where it should 2) doesn't really hold the bb firmly. Having said that its ideal for carbon bikes that are harder to clamp than metal framed bikes
PeterExtremely sturdy work stand which can be quickly set up ready for use. Quite expensive but well worth the money due to it's superb build quality
Mr MillhouseExcellent stand. Very sturdily made, bike attaches very easily and solidly. Looking forward to years of use..
Mr de BrauwereGreat piece of kit. Solid, stable and makes cleaning the bike and fettling quite a pleasure. Only discovered after receiving the stand that I would need the thru-axle adapter (Park Tools 1728-TA MTB Sliding Thru-Axle Adaptor) to fit my mountain bike on the stand as it has a thru-axle fork. This was a bit frustrating and disappointing as it involved more expense and waiting but once I sourced the adapter the stand worked as well for the MB as it did for the road bike. Not cheap but Merlin had it at the most competitive price by far, quick service too. Though I haven't used other types of stands I feel it's worth the differencein price. Stores away neatly.
Mr KazinecThis is a great product. It is well built for the purpose and I am sure it will serve for a long time. Cleaning and repairing my bikes is a lot easier now. Assembly of the stand took about 20 minutes and required some basic tools. Very satisfied
Mr BannisterHaving researched a few similar bike stands on the Internet I opted for the park tool. The reviews suggested this was the stand to have. I've used it on a couple of occasions now and it's faultless. Easy to assemble, use and store. A bit expensive but worth it. It's s solid, durable and functional piece of kit!
Mr BusseyFirst thing that struck me when I got this out of the box and assembled it was the build quality and design. I find myself rubbishing most stuff I buy these days for that but I couldn't find anything to fault with this. This stand As they say "last you a lifetime" It's reassuringly heavy which is what you need. All the nuts have the nylon bushes in them so the wont come undone and get lost. Buying online I wasn't sure how the strap locating system would work but it works just fine, holds the frame steady and doesn't trap any cables. That was the key element in the purchase as I have a carbon frame that doesn't have a round tube on it and I didn't want to clamp on any part of the frame so this stand is just the job. I'm using the locating strap to hold it all together when I'm storing it but I'll probably invest in the carry bag long term. I would highly recommend this stand.
Mr ThomasGreat piece of kit and very stable - holds my road, track and mountain bike frames by either front or rear dropouts and bottom bracket allowing work on gears etc. Only disadvantage over clamp style frame is that you will always have one wheel off the bike. Variable height so ok for working on bottom bracket to saddle.
Mr SmithGreat product. Excellent service and price from Merlin.
Mr PeaceTurn around on order was excellent. Delivery worry free. Product meets properly expectations.
Mr WalkerVery sturdy workmanlike product. Easy and quick to assemble though instructions could be clearer. Order was despatched very promptly and was received within two days by standard delivery. Now could be without it
Mr Fennell-RobertsFirst class piece of kit. Once set up it is so easy to use, giving full access to the bike. It also folds down to a reasonable size. Note - this is not some flimsy wobbly stand of the sort I've seen elsewhere, it's a pro road side/race start stand and for an amateur with limited space it is excellent. The service from Merlin matched the stand, First Class
Mr Bortongreat compact stand, good all round access for fettling
Mr StockbridgePurchased to accomodate a build project involving a carbon frame whilst noting support to frame is made without clamping frame or seatpost. This stand is so versatile and extremely sturdy. Value for money
Mr TaylorGreat stand at a great price, the only issue I've had with it so far is a bike with mudguards which wouldn't sit flush on the stand but apart from that extremely stable and being able to swing the bike round 360 degrees is an added bonus would definately recommend
AnonymousExcellent stand, very easy to put together and very sturdy. Ideal if you don't want to risk clamping your bikes tubes. Usual first class service from Merlin which is why they are my first choice for shiny bike stuff.
Mr KEETONExcellent service from Merlin, great price and quick delivery and a great workstand.
Mr HibbardGood solid stand. Like how it holds the bike from the bottom allowing a more secure stance when working on bottom brackets, pedals, etc. Better than my old stand which used a clamp around the top tube to hold the bike and was scratching the frame.
Mr JohnsonMerlin Cycles does it again - They get my items to me faster than if I buy from shops here in Australia. Their customer service is outstanding. The Park Tool Team Stand is terrific. I nearly bought a Tacx bench type stand but the Park stand rotates which makes it much more convenient. I chose the PRS20 over the PRS21 because the extra weight makes it more stable. Hint: coat the inside of the steel tubes with rust-proofing compound.
Mr OlssonWorking Great! =) No 15QR a bit heavy..
Mr HannibalI had a workstand that I have used for 8 years, but since buying a carbon frame bike 2 years ago I could only use the seat post. The park workstand is a daily compact peice of equipment, and having full access both sides of the bike and being able to rotate it 360 degrees makes this a great workstand. Was tempted to go for the lightweight version but could not compare the two.
