Prologo Scratch 2 Tirox Saddle
Prologo Scratch 2 Saddle with Tirox Rails
Rail light-alloy steel, highly resistant to traction, and torsion, for its physical characteristics and light weight, is used in the aviation and aerospace industry. T-Irox then turns out to be a rail with a good balance between weight and strength, that doesn’ t fear the normal stress that addresses a bicycle.
Carbon Injection Monocoque
After countless hours of R&D, the Prologo engineers have developed a new production process for injected carbon fiber, to create a “Monocoque injected” base. This results in less weight (about 15%), increased stability and even an improved overall finish of the saddle.
It is the system patented by Prologo that combines multiple base stiffnesses and multiple padding densities for a new level of comfort.

Mr MillerI was looking for a new saddle for my Ridley cyclocross bike. I have experience with Prologo saddles as one came on another bike I have (which was a Prologo Scratch Pro.) I saw that this looked to be the same saddle as the Scratch Pro, which I like, just slightly upgraded. Wow I was not disappointed. I installed it and took it for a ride, a 30 mile loop with most of it being gravel. The Scratch 2 was simply amazing. As soon as I took my first few pedal strokes, it felt totally perfect and continued that way until I finished the ride. Prologo really dialed in the perfect amount of padding and considering that it weighs just a bit over 200g doesn't hurt the scale too much. Comparing the Pro vs. Scratch 2, I would definitely spend the extra money for the 2. I would highly recommend it to anyone, as for me, it's the best saddle out there.
