Great first pair of shoes. Wanted good value for my first pair. These feel good quality look great any are comfortable and good fit when on. Went for a larger size than normal and they are a very snug fit so would advise to size up by 1/1.5
Its a price/quality product. With this price you can get satisfied. Size is perfectly fit to me. But if you think will not be comfortable with tightness buy 1/2 size bigger.
Value for money, good build quality, sized a little small.
Perfect fit. Following advice of others I got a half size larger than my typical shoe and its prefect. Love the straps instead of laces. If you're in the fence as these for your first cycling shoe, I'd say, go for it!
Absolutely stoked with these shoes, they are comfortable and easy to wear. Easy to adjust the holes for the cleats. Great quality.
Great for an entry level shoe. Won't find a better priced MTB shoe anywhere, but are really comfy, stiff and appear well made. Look a little plasticy like others have said, but a bit of mud sorts that out fine.
Typical lightning fast Merlin delivery. Again, like other reviewers, I was sceptical about budget price but these are a fantastic pair of shoes. Really well made, stiff sole, secure Velcro straps. I am normally a 43 in trainers so opted for 44 which is perfect. Would definitely recommend.
Very good, although I would go for a 1/2 size bigger as they would be too tight with anything other than very thin socks.
Maybe white isn't the best colour for Mountain biking but the quality and value of the shoe really make up for them constantly looking dirty. One of the best pairs of spd shoes I have owned and would highly recommend at this price.
Comfy shoe. Stiff sole. May get kinda hot in the summer.
These are a little bright white or were!! And look a little cheap at first glance but .... Look a little deeper the stitching, foot moulds, attention to detail and comfort all surpass what U expected from a starter shoe. I have only used 3 times in anger and few spin classes (great value for this alone) so not sure of longevity but seems great value so far
Great feel and fitting shoe. I wear a 10-1/2 to 11 US shoe size. A 44 fit me perfect!
My first entry into bike shoe's and spd's and these shoes are true to size. I was worried as lots of reviews say they come up small or very snug I take a size 9 in all my shoes and these fit perfectly. Fairly comfy out of the box but expect them to soften with riding. Absolute bargain entry mtb shoe. Brilliant service from Merlin, delivered next day!
The size was spot on and they feel rigid and secure on the foot. The quality seems great. Had a 85 km run this weekend and they didn't give me any blisters even though they where brand new and not worn in.
Probably the best quality mtb shoe in this price range with excellent build and a perfect fit .
Great entry level shoe for the price. The shoe is well made and ideal for someone like myself that is just a casual rider these days. I am a 7 but it is best to go next size up as they are a bit on the snug side, and they do have a strange odour which soon goes. In all a good shoe, and the service from Merlin cycles was second to none.
Well made shoe although do come up a little small, find them a bit tight, but overall a good product for the price.
Not a bad pair of shoes for the money, but they come up on the small side. I take a 42.5-43 size (UK 8.5/9) so I ordered a 43 and although they fitted, they were just too tight, and certainly wouldn't allow the use of two pairs of socks in cold weather. The shoes are well made, but are very 'plasticky', and do have a bit of an odd chemical-type smell, which I'm sure would dissipate over time. Not bad if you're on a budget (which I am), but there are better shoes out there at a similar price point.
