Schwalbe Hans Dampf Addix Soft Folding MTB Tyre - 29"

The new Hans Dampf has everything to increase fun in Enduro. SuperGravity carcass, Apex versions and of course Addix compounds. For gorgeous handling and the highest puncture protection on demanding trails - uphill as well as downhill. All in all much more aggressive, Hans Dampf still remains good-natured at the limits and gives optimal feedback from the ground. Addix Soft is a compound that bridges many disciplines. It’s just as at home in the enduro and downhill world as it is in the demanding discipline of all-mountain and trail riding. It also impresses when used in combination with other Addix tyres.

Simon Much improved over the old Addix compound both grip and rolling resistance, only struggles a little in axle deep mud and the steepest of wet rock climbs, a great all rounder. Cannot comment on longevity after 200km though. Will quite happily buy these again.
Mr Baniewicz I got these tires as a replacement for what came stock on my new (last year) Spot Mayhem. They are awesome. I love the grip in turns especially. I live in Colorado and love them for the hardpack and occassional mud. I have not gotten a chance to try them in Moab or Fruita yet, but based on their performance thus far I anticipate no issues. I also run Nobby Nics in the rear. I have had no issues sealing or seating to the rim. Whereas, I used to run Continental Kings and always had issues. I used to ride Maxxis DHF and DHRs but am extremely happy with the Schwalbe's for all the reasons I listed.
David This new version of the Hans Dampf is excellent. Lots of grip without being too draggy. Clears mud well and hasn't yet let me down despite some particularly greasy rooty bits recently. Excellent service from Merlin as always.
