Mr MurphyI bought these as I wanted a sleeker look to my bike (the blue and black were ascetically pleasing) but I wanted something more reliable and sturdy to my stock tyres as one had just split short of the 1000 mile mark! Having heard splendid reviews from other cyclists and being at a suitable price, I went for them and I am not disappointing! A nice replacement on a budget!
DKAs far as training tires go I prefer the Maraton or Durano from Schwalbe. The Lugano tires get the job done and for a price that's hard to match. The performance is adequate for the price, but for serious training I'd spend the extra money for one of Schwalbe's other offerings.
Mr DukeThese tires came stock on my bike, I liked them then, and in 700x25 are perfect for a larger rider like me!
Mr HibbertExcellent tyres, hard wearing, virtually puncture proof
Mr deanA great tyre have been using these all year and so far not one puncture they do grip the road well even in torrential rain can't fault them even the price
Mr MooreGood grip provided by knurled tread on both sidewalls and main contact band. Colours make it a nice alternative to straight black!
Mr McAllanNice tyre, exactly what I was after, middle of the road performance, middle of the road price :)
Mr JordanI was a little dubious about these tyres due to the price, however I couldn't have been more wrong. I`ve just returned from a 240 mile ride - London to Brussels taking in varying types of road surface (and weather conditions). Not one puncture - I made sure that I inflated to 100psi (checked with pressure gauge) and that the tyres seated properly when on the rim. The grip was good and the tyres seem to be durable. Go buy some!
Ms LadislauThe best tyre for training day by day. Strong!!
Mr SheldonFor the money, you cant go wrong. Ideal for needing a pair of sensible , lightweight and armoured road tyres, especially for the winter, with grip.
Mr SwalesI use these tyres on my winter bike, I am more than happy with them the grip well in the wet and they climb well up up the north yorkshire hills. I`m not a small fella but they move well under my frame so I would say there worth a try, good value for your money
Mr KellyVery good balance between comfortable and fast.
Mr DewhurstGood, value for money tyres.
Mr CheshireGood grip , in wet condition , used for training in winter, lalso great value
craig fatboy Jonesgreat value, tough, pretty fast rolling tyres. superb schwalbe quality.
