Mr Nelson Great tyre, I use it tubeless and it sits on the bead well, I only replaced the last one as a flint tore a large gash in it.
Michael I was a little bit nervous as there are mixed reviews on Nobby Nic’s. As a rear tyre I can’t fault. Light for the size easy to fit on 35 mm rims and has proven to be really predictable on a variety of surfaces
ANDY Excellent rear tyre. Allows me to roll into corners with confidence
Mr Lucas Bought these tyres at a great price just in time for the autumn/winter weather. Excellent grip so far in the mud. Would highly recommend 👍
Mr Davis Excellent tyres to replace existing one at a solid price. Efficient service as always from Merlin 👍
michael Seems good so far. Rolls fairly fast and supple. No grip issues. It is a tyre.
HARRY The only tire I use. Proper plus size and run at 12 psi it just GRIPS.
janet Bought these for my steel hardtail bikepacking rig. Perfect for a mixture of terrain as well as being suitable as all season tyres. For me 2.6 is the sweet spot of + tyres and Schwalbe tyres have never let me down in the past. I would highly recommend these as a put on and forget tyres. At present running tubeless with 18 psi rear and 16 psi front.
Matt Arnstein My go to rear tyre pattern. Rolls well, grips enough and has been tough enough for where/how I ride. Tubeless setup is easy. New compound and increased width is another plus.
Mr mansfield Nice and nobbly! Good grip and roll well on tarmac.
Jim Cathcart Fast rolling with good cornering grip. Good summer tyre
Mr Williams Easy to get on the rims, nice big chunky tread, replaced some worn out WTB's, have loads of grip and are not to heavy.
Mr Stride Excellent tyre, perfect grip on trails.
Jim Relatively light, fast rolling and grippy. Perfect tyre front and back for a 27.5+ mtb.
Mr andrews After getting a huge slice down the sidewall of the original fitted tyre which I liked I didn’t think twice about going for another Nobby Nic👍🏻
Selvino Great front tire fit my Hans damp to rear and very well control in front
elfe1962 Replacing a set of 2 years old Nobby Nic by the same tires. Easy to set up tubeless, holding air very well
Mr Sharples Although I loved my Scott Spark with its Maxxis Rekon 2.8`s in the dry, they don`t work in the sticky mud, just can not get any traction. Swapped them out for the new Nobby Nic 2.8 and its completely transformed my winter riding. Traction through mud and on technical descents is outstanding. They are a bit harder going on long climbs, but only by a few percent. A very reasonable price to pay for all that traction.
Running the rear @ 17 PSI and 15 PSI up front.
Highly recommended them to anyone riding a Plus XC or Trail bike in the UK, especially during the wet winter months.
Wilson These tires seem to have a great rubber compound. As with all the Nobby Nic tires I have purchased in the past year or so, these are top of them all. The 2.6" version is a perfect combination of size of casing and nob size and positions. The 2.35 version is also a rather large 2.35 and good spacing as well.
