Swimming GeekI purchased these in March 2018. So it was just the tail end of the Winter weather, but so far they are a lot warmer than any of the other lobster-style cycle gloves I've had. I'm most impressed with them so far. Things that stand out: - They are water and windproof. - There is plenty of well positioned reflective detailing. - They're a snug fit, so I've not had to wear a liner glove and I've found it really interesting how having warm hands keeps the rest of your body so much warmer! The inbuilt liner glove doesn't get stuck when you take your hands out. Winter 2019 already feels like it will be much easier on the bike!
SimonReally warm, not tested in the wet due to no rain! Good fit and seem well made.
RobertNot yet warn out on the bike so just a quick comment on fit and finish. Both excellent. Sizing chart was accurate and they have the reflective detailing in all the right places cuf is long enough to deal with jacket. Palm feels thin enough but the real test will come when I want to change gear with Di2
JohnThese gloves fit well. Finally have a decent pair of cold weather gloves.
AndrewVery comfortable glove and size guide is accurate. Warm and waterproof on my commutes. Good quality too.
Mr VandelooGreat gloves, very good quality! Already used them when it was about 3°C and no more cold fingers! Very satisfied with my purchase.
NickDecent set of gloves. Great fit for those with smaller hands (size: S). Unfortunately, not particularly warm when compared with similar offerings from Gore, etc. Have not had a chance to test in rain.
TonyI was a little disappointed at first as they seemed stiff and not much grip on the palms. However, after 3 rides they softened and I really like them. They're very warm and would recommend to anyone suffering with cold hands. Order a size up though.
JohnThe gloves are well made and fully waterproof. However, I have not found them to be as warm as I hoped when buying them. I have found that the fingertips especially, do not stay warm in cold weather. I would say that they are good quality but I am still searching for a waterproof glove that provides full warmth for the entire hand, especially the fingertips!
Mr KnowlesThese gloves are simply great, they`re warm and they allow for some dexterity in the fingers which is good for braking and shifting. I have used them for cycling mainly, but because they are waterproof and also very warm I recently took them with me for our annual Christmas shopping trip to London, I'm usually left to carry the bags and this year despite the cold weather my hands where toastie and I was still able to carry the bags around London. I would recommend these gloves as they are well made and do keep your hands warm, also if you register them with Sealskinz you'll get a 2yr guarantee. They only downside is that they are on the small side, I'm usually a large and the measurements given by Sealskinz confirm this, however I have seen other reviews that suggested its better to go up a size when ordering these glove I did (ordered XL), I'm happy I did as the XLs fit snuggly the large would have been tight.
Edinburgh PaulAbsolutely brilliant pair of gloves for the cold weather. My circulation isn't fantastic, so used to always get really cold fingers, but with these gloves I have no problem at all. I cycled in -3C to work this morning and no problem at all. Previously, I've tried SealSkinz yellow gloves that were for cold weather (i.e. water and wind proof), but they didn't quite cut the mustard in super cold conditions, even with a pair of inner gloves. So these highland claw SealSkinz were a terrific find. I think good value too. (Now I've just got to solve the cold feet problem :-)
PadraicIt`s nice to finally ride without cold fingers. These gloves work way better than I expected.
Mr HeymanThese gloves keep your digits warm on the coldest of rides.
TrygThese are perfect for the rain and the cold. My hand get cold below 10 degrees these keep mine comfortable. They fit snug so size up if you like room in your gloves
Mr WahlinFelt awkward a bit at first, but very warm and feels good. Maybe a bit small in size, so I did the right thing to order XL (11).
ChristopherVery warm, warmest gloves I've ever owned. Can`t speak for waterproof qualities yet as they're too warm at anything over 10 degrees.
GaafsterI just love this brand when it comes to gloves, it does what it says. Just make sure you measure correctly. If the size is too small you won't have any extra room to build up a warm pocket of trapped air on the inside and it gives to the opportunity to use liner gloves if it really goes sub zero.
JonesJust what the doctor ordered, lovely warm gloves!
Mr MackieI commute by bike here in Canada and I was never able to find a way to keep my hands warm in -30 degrees celsius until I found these gloves. Amazing. They are super warm and I have found them perfectly suited for actuating Shimano mechanical levers. Sram levers are a bit trickier but still good. The quality is also quite good. My only issue is that they fit smaller than the size claims. My suggestion is to order one size up from what you normally wear. Happy Riding!
Mr ColeThese seem to be the warmest gloves that I have tried. I suffer from cold hands when the temperature goes down, I've got a smaller pair of gloves that I fit into these as well.
