I am very happy with this purchase .It arrived very well packed and almost completely made up - I only had to fit the handle bar (and pedals of course)
As other reviews have said - its finish and overall appearance is far better than seen on the website - the black matt finish and smooth welds give it the look of a far more expensive bike. I went for the full Ultegra group set which was finely tuned and ready to go. I don't regret this purchase one bit and would urge others to seriously consider a Sensa as a real alternative to the 'usual suspects'
When I opened the box I thought that Merlin had sent the wrong bike it looked so much better in the flesh than it did on the web site. I bought this on a budget to replace a high end carbon machine so it had something to live up to. The matt black finish is perfect, the bike light and a real head turner with others I ride with. After a quick build the only adjustments needed was slight tweak on the gear cable tension.
I have given it a good outing over the last 2 weeks and am really impressed. It is responsive and always willing to go that bit faster, as a good stead should. The group set (Tiagra) is more than adequate and shifts seamlessly, overall I am a very happy man and can fully recommend this bike. Go on treat yourself.
A top value bike for the money. I've so far done 4 races and a few training rides on it and it hasn't put a foot wrong. Please consider the Sensa range before you consider buying something else.
I can not believe how good a deal this bike is. I specified full Shimano Ultegra groupset. Because of the weather I have only used the bike on a turbo trainer, so have not given it a full road test. The saddle feels comfortable and the gear changes are very slick and accurate. However the roads around where I live are covered in mud and water and I do not want to harm my new steed.
Excellent, light, looks great and runs like a dream. Only down side is tha saddle but I think thats just me.
