The Shimano 5800 has gone 11 Speed for the latest incarnation of the 105. The 5800 has been inspired by the innovations of the more upper end Shimano Ultegra and Dura Ace; you can see the technological influences across the design of the 5800 components.  More advanced and lighter than its predecessors and with a more eye catching design, the 5800 promises high performance and is one of the latest cycling must haves.

Specifications:

Arrived relatively quickly and as advertised. The 105 FD is a solid component.
This is a brilliant derailleur, it was easy to fit and is working flawlessly so far. The Shimano manuals also make it easy to decide if the converter should be used or not
Great design but it is a bit hard to fine tune this derailleur. The plastic rubber pad on the inside of the cage is a nice feature.
A little hard to set up compared to prior derailleurs, but once set up, works admirably.
Solid, precise shifting. Big improvement over the older 105 derailleur it replaced. Great price.
Shifts great, pretty easy to install and adjust.
I upgraded to the 105 5800 11speed set from my Tiagra 10 speed set and what a huge difference. Shifting is extremely smooth and fast, and the routing of the cable in the bar tape is much cleaner.
What can I say? It's great, light, cheap and pushes chains.
Really smooth gear changes and the trim function means the bike is much quieter no matter which position on the rear cassette
