Great stopping power and very quiet on the rotor plus cooling fin is a big advantage. And also quality made in Japan!
Bought these for my Seven 622SLX with Di2 and hydraulic discs. Simple to fit and completely transformed the braking. Rear pads were just about worn out and front pads about 2/3rds. Great pads, no squeaks or squeals even in the wet
I use these on the rear of all my bikes with Deore, SLX, XT and the new XT M8000 brakes. Great performance, durable, quiet. Love them
Quick bed in, no squealing, perfect front brake pad
They're genuine Shimano brake pads, designed to stop your bike, which they do. These have great braking performance on XT and SLX brakes and I have them on two different 29ers. I get about 750km's out of a set.
Have not had an issue with overheating yet.
To sum these pads up in one word it would be PREDICTABLE and for me that's a big advantage when on a 4 hour plus ride that the brake is just as good at the end of the ride even when you've gone through mud, water and all kinds of decents.
At this price no reason to go for alternative's especially with the stopping power, long life and no brake squeal.
Great stopping power. Look cool with the extra cooling fins.
Yes, they are a little more expensive than some other brands but you notice the difference in stopping power with these bad boys.
I've used numerous cheaper pads, had break squeal, gone through one pair in less than a week.
Hopefully these hold up well, the last pair of Resin Shimano XT pads I had lasted almost a year.
Replacement pads for 2013 SLX brakes. The original pads lasted for 900 miles admittedly in predominately dry weather and still had life left in them. For that level of longevity I dont think it is worth trying to save a few quid on cheaper copies.
Hit the Mark received really quickly and so easy to fit all done within the timeframe of weekend to weekend ride. Once fitted worked a treat.
upgraded recently to the new shimano xt disc brake setup,
have used these pads along with the ice tech rotors.
have found the pads to be ideal, with good bite and feel
i was concerned about how long they would last , but are goiing well even with the weather in wales
would recommend the sintered version if using the pads on a big dh bike but for everything else they are perfect
