Ron A quality product that does as it should. But don't forget (as I did) that a new cassette usually needs a new chain as well!
Mr Kinney I have been using dura ace components for years but never used a dura ace casette because of cost. Bought this on a great sale am running it with dura ace 9100 components. What a joy this casette is. Makes me wish I was young enough to race again. Weight and accuracy what more could you ask for.
Mr Champagne Thanks for providing such quality components. My original components lasted me three years, for a total of 16,600 miles. I would not hesitate to refer any of my friends to purchase these components. Hope this cassette will last me another three years
Mr Saunders Jr Hard to locate an 11-23 9000 Shimano Dura Ace. Most popular are 11-25 and above. I live in Southwest Florida and it is mostly flat. Luckily, you had them at an "amazing price" and I bought 3 of them. I wish you had some 11-21 (10 speed)) Dura Ace. Let me know if you have any in stock. A.
Raydel Fernandez Great quality, durable and light cassette. I always use Shimano Dura-ace on all my bikes. Fast shipping.
Jason I have enjoyed many years of happy riding with this product. Typical Shimano quality delivered by Merlin at a great price.
Robert Love the 12-28 11 speed. I missed the 16 tooth cog which countered the too big of a gap between the 15 and 17 on the 11-28 cassette
Mr Weretelnyk Purchased the 12-28 cassette for an upcoming trip to Spain. Installed and tested it over the weekend. Usual Dura Ace quality. No adjustment was required to the rear derailleur. Shifts exactly like the Dura Ace 11-25
DocWass I purchased an extra 12-28 and 12-25 cassette since these are getting harder to find - especially the 12. DA cassettes are the best I've ridden- they last the longest, are the lightest and shift great. Well worth the extra cost.
Michael I like the close ratios on this which is the reason I switched out my 11-25 for the 12-25. The 11-25 was approx 177g, & the 12-25 is closer to 200g. So both are more that the 161g Shimano claims on the 11-23. I talked to Shimano about why the 12-25 weighs so much more & he said it appeared they were using a different/heavier rivet structure on the 12-25. I don't know why that would be necessary?? Anyway, he & I both presumed the 12-25 Ultegra would also be much heavier than the 212g they advertise on that... The Dura Ace 12-25 does have the same mix of titanium & steel cogs as the other DA cassettes, so that doesn't account for the difference. It runs very quiet out of the box & doesn't seem to need any slight break in. The only drawback is the slight weight penalty which I think Shimano s/b more upfront about. I'd be curious to see if Merlin would pull a DA & Ultegra cassette in 12-25 & see what they get for weights.
Mr Christopherson Lightweight, fairly durable, extremely reliable.
Del Riccio The item just as expected, smooth and precise shifting 100% of the time. Super fast shipping from Merlin.
Mr Murphy Most probably the smoothest cassette I've ever run and light too
Mr JAMILOSA Light and crisp shifts.
Greg D. About 250mi on the cassette and so far I'm happy with it. When combined with the 9070 Di2 Groupset and Dura Ace 9000 11-speed chain, shifting is precise, crisp and fairly quiet.
Hersh Ultra smooth and accurate, very lightweight, great piece of engineering
Mr Marshall Quiet and light!
Mr Garlish Just what the doctor ordered for those long hilly sportives! Fantastic gear range without any major weight penalty. Shifting is faultless. Will last forever so well worth the money!
Mr Scaife Expensive but you get what you pay for! I prefer this to the 11-28 version because you get a better spread of sprockets through 12-17 without any gaps and I would only rarely use the 11 sprocket (down hill with a following wind!)
Mr Ginn Just gone 11 speed and these cassettes are brilliant-great spread of ratios (11-28) without any jumps and weigh next to nothing. Oh and some of the cogs are titanium which is sick!
