Mark Amazing quality for the money. I'd definitely recommend these.
Gary These are the smoothest running cables ever, it a shame to have Ultegra or DA and use anything less than the cables designed for the job, Merlin's current price is probably a world's best. I got two of the OEM kits containing 2 x inners & 2 x outer cables for the price some charge for a single inner.......
Mr Parker Bought to fit with 105 BR-5800 calipers on a friends bike. Slickest cables at a fraction of the price!
Mr wu Easy to cut to size and route as replacement for dura ace components. Smooth operation since installation.
Mr Williams The PTFE coating on these is easily damages, so need to take care installing. Despite this, I keep buying them, because they work so well.
SRC Superb quality cables! I don't use anything else now. This OEM set has everything you need and none of the superfluous extra packaging you don't, at a fantastic price.
Mr Arslan Ordered with ultegra road brakes, I can say if you set up properly (be careful to measure and cut that exterior cables) it performs very well.
Mr L Tried a couple other non-polymer coated cables. Not as smooth
Austin Dura Ace brake & gear cables are absolutely top-end, the coating is very effective at providing ultra-smooth shifting and braking. My only gripe is that the coating does not last too long, I typically replace it every 6 months otherwise performance drops off. This is not such a big issue for the brake cables, more for the gear cable.
