Mr Power For the price I was almost skeptical that they wouldn't arrive! But they came as described, even included the finned pads and fork adapter. The only thing it didn't come with was a spare set of olives and barbs to size the hoses, but overall I still give it 5 stars for the excellent product and service.
Mr Blanchard Easy enough to fit and set up - far more effective than cable operated disc brakes they were bought to replace. My bike needed a post mount front Caliper - would be useful if an adaptor to go from post to flat was easily available - I just sourced a compatible post mount Caliper (RS785) elsewhere and it all seems to work fine. Very happy.
RP Well, these do look odd and bulky but while riding, they're the most comfortable STI's I've tried (and yes, between Shimano and SRAM, I've tried all models of disc brake STI's, current and previous gen). Obviously, this opinion is for my hands and it's a personal thing, like saddles... Apart from that, they're Shimano, they just work well! And I've no problem with their looks considering the confort they provide, and also the very good price that Merlin sells them!
