Andrew BAwesome rear derailleur. Removable jockey wheel cage so I could use an oversized pulley wheel upgrade, the 105 Rear derailleur wouldn't let me.
Ron AndersonSolid and Reliable and the lowest price on the planet..!!!!
Ben RWorks great with the rest of the Ultegra groupset and allows for additional gearing for the hills around Yorkshire. Excellent service from Merlin - arrived very quickly.
Mr FilipekI required this derailleur to fit a 11-32 cassette onto my bike. Shifting has been flawless and crisp. I could not find any difference in performance to the shorter cage derailleur, and am grateful for its extra capacity.
MatthewCrisp gear changes & great looks, works very will in muddy cyclocross conditions too
Mr PrestoIt works perfect with the 9100 series front derailleur
Mr YazmanI did want to buy Duraace rear Derailleur but Shimano didn't make in medium cage, so for my 11-32 Ultegra cassette I bought the medium cage Ultegra (10 or 20 gram more than the short cage ultegra RD). It is very solid RD with strong spring, totaly recomended.
ezweaveI still wish they made a road/CX clutch rear, but other than that, it is great (and yes, I know WTC makes the TanPan to allow you to run an MTB rear with road shifters... but it's heavy and bulky looking).
GzepiBlinders on, you can`t tell the difference between this and dura-ace. Excellent shifts.
CastrenExcellent function. I purchased the GS for my cyclocross 1x build. Works fine... Wish Shimano would release a clutch RD for STI shifters though.
RichardLovely shifting moved from 10 speed Dura ace and now a ultegra convert!!
KimVery smooth shifting.
JRidesaFeltJockey wheels spin so smooth. Top quality.
Mr PfeifferPreviously ridden Shimano 105 and this is definitely an upgrade. Very smooth changes both up and down the rear sprocket. Easy to fit and adjust using instructions from Shimano's website.
ArcherAllows use of an 11-32 cassette, which is one of the best things I've bought this year. Also long enough for my drive train to handle cross-chaining big-big, which is an awesome gear for racing (as it avoids shifting the chainrings, which is a bit of a pain generally). Of course I love the ultegra, it's super smooth and responsive, and the color is lovely.
PKBullet proof and easy to setup. Nice action.
