General information about our shipping
Usual Shimano quality. Very nice looking crank arms, if a little shiny. Seems a shame to put them on a bike and ride them. Not sure why Shimano decided on making the 1x crank with a 51mm chainline? 49mm is supposed to be optimum. I have used it with a modified 3rd party chainring, and some spacers to make the chainline a bit better. It does seem like they only want you to use their own chainrings with this crank. Overall a great bit of kit, my 6th Shimano crank. Also pretty happy that this one came in the proper Shimano box. I know it makes no difference, but I do like having the Shimano packaging. Only 4 stars because of the odd chainline decision. Thanks to Merlin for the great price and the usual great service!
