Install easy, quiet and no chaindrop, great cranks
Great chainset. Easy to install, light, smooth to ride with, excellent value for money
Great crankset very stiff compared to the Deore that it replaced and great quality, very easy to install on my bike, fits perfectly on my press fit BB, Merlin cycles once again very fast shipping and great prices

This is the 3rd one I've bought and it's going on the SO's bike.
Used on a (mountain) commute bike in conversion to single speed with a 9 speed chain on a vertical drop out frame. Nothing but the tools needed to fit this, no missing parts all the threads and the crank contact area are adequately greased up!
There are many cheaper options but I like a solid, wide 2 piece BB and this delivers!
Shimano's quality is present in this product, good build quality, good anodizing, looks really good and well packed. Fitting was easy, it all went in as expected, do not forget your spacers or pedal washers and hand tighten the retaining screw (black plastic thingy on the non-drive side). I would suggest tightening the opposing bolts on the non-drive side very tight stops the BB clicking when pedaling hard. ALSO make sure the pin by the retaining bolts is correctly placed, there's plastic gasket which sticks out the bottom of the crank if you don't: Read the instructions!
Ride feel; they are really solid and do have a wide stance which you can feel, wider than my older XT and 105 BB's). There is some clicking from the opposing bolts not having been tightened enough but that was sorted.
What else can you do with them? There is enough room to add another chain ring! Or a bash guard. Or upgrade to a larger chain ring, or two larger chain rings. My plans are to add a bash guard.
If you're looking for a single chain ring solution then go for this one. I might do the same for my XT full suspension, it is a really good crank.
Got this to run as a 1x10 set up on my ht & got to say it looks brilliant straight out the box & feels bomb proof. Very happy with it
Running this on my 1x10 Ragley Piglet with Zee rear mech & shifter & SLX cassette. Flawless. BB runs smooth. Not too heavy and they look great. I helitaped mine crank arms to keep them looking good.
Well, what a fantastic piece of kit! Super light weight, feel stiff and look stylish. Top of the class, nice one Shimano!
Great bit of kit, very smooth and extremely strong.
Shimano delivers again with a simple bulletproof product. I have had two pair of saint cranks, and I would not hesitate to switch to ZEE. Same pinch bolt scheme, same steel pedal inserts, almost identical weight with Saint. Don't be afraid of the "lower level" component. Trickle down is good in Shimano's case.
The last part in my custom build Blue Pig. Usual Merlin efficiency even with Easter. Now complete the Pig is running like a dream and the Zee chain set is the perfect accompaniment. Not overly heavy but stiff enough to not flex. Top draw product and Service.
