Sidi Diablo Gore-Tex MTB Shoes

The Sidi Diablo Gore-Tex mountain bike shoe has been designed specifically to help committed all-year-round mountain bikers ride comfortably regardless of rain, snow and low temperatures. Staying warm and dry is the key and in particular keeping the extremities from getting cold; the Sidi Diablo MTB shoes will protect your feet from the elements allowing you to enjoy your winter riding more. With clever construction techniques and the use of technical materials that make up four insulating layers including a Gore Tex inner lining to keep wind and moisture out and a durable water-repellent Lorica outer layer Sidi have created the ultimate winter mountain bike shoe.

The Diablo Gore Tex shoes aren’t all about comfort and warmth though, these capable winter mountain bike shoes are built to perform too. With a stiff sole you’ll be able to transfer all your power through to the pedals when riding hard and will run with confidence off the bike thanks to an aggressive tread pattern. Three secure Velcro straps and a high cuff with an additional Velcro closure will keep your foot firmly planted while a Sidi heel cup provides protection from rocks and roots as well as helping to prevent any heel-lift when pedaling hard out of the saddle.

  • Synthetic upper with Lorica Toe Inserts
  • Waterproof and breathable Gore-tex membrane lining
  • MTB Competition sole with aggressive tread pattern
  • Three Strap closure
  • High cuff with wide closure
  • Sidi Heel cup
I'm a big fan of Sidi shoes as they fit me really well and last a long time These feel to be up to the usual quality standard and they're definitely stylish (for a winter boot!). However, fit wise they're not as good as either of my summer shoes. I'm a 43 usually and even accepting that these are designed for winter, they do come up a bit big, even with a thick winter sock. I think it's due to the famous Sidi heel cup not being as pronounced meaning your foot isn't quite as secure. I think a 42 would be too small though and no half sizes, so will make do and try to tailor the fit with a pair of heel grips. I've seen a few other reviews mention the loose fit around the top of the boot too and agree with them. The boots have kept my feet warm though and that's the main reason I bought them and they certainly aren't uncomfortable, just not as great as the summer shoes.
Great shoes. Very comfortable. The perfect winter boot. Thanks Merlin for such superb service
Very comfortable from the first ride, fully adjustable fit and they look great
Great fit, great shoe for the winter commute!
