Sidi Eagle 7 MTB Shoes

The Sidi Eagle 7 shoes are Sidi’s mid-range mountain bike shoes designed for the demands of serious cross-country riding and racing when lightweight, stiff soles and user-friendly fit-adjustment are a must. The Eagle 7 shoe boasts a number of key features taken from other Sidi MTB shoes higher up in the range with Sidi redeveloping them using more affordable materials and manufacturing techniques. Featuring a super-stiff composite sole designed specifically to enhance your performance both on and off the bike it is can be fitted with two toe spikes (sold separately) on the front for traction in difficult and muddy conditions.

A hard-wearing, water-repellent upper that’s resistant to abrasion and trail debris features a Micro Caliper buckle allowing you to make simple on-the-bike adjustments to the fit letting you completely open it by lifting together both side buckles, or pushing the centre button to slightly loosen one tooth at the time. Two High Security Velcro straps compliment the caliper buckle to enhance the fit and keep the front of your foot firmly planted in the shoe. To avoid any unnecessary pressure on the top of your foot Sidi have included an adjustable, anatomically curved strap combined with a soft, thermo-formed EVA pad that distributes pressure evenly over the instep area while a reinforced heel cup keeps your foot firmly planted in the shoe and helps stop heel-lift when you’re out of the saddle putting the power down.

Good fit and great service. The Customer Service department had noticed I lived not far from Merlin's warehouse and phoned me personally to say the stock had not yet arrived but they would forward the item asap but in the meantime would we like to try a half size bigger. Reality was the half size bigger was better!
