Sidi Wire 2 Matt Carbon Road Cycling Shoe
The Sidi Wire Matt 2 Carbon is an all-new cycling shoe from Sidi. Featuring top of the line Carbon Vent sole, with a matt finish Microfibre Tech-Pro upper fabric. The Techno 3 closure system one on the side of the shoe and one atop the tongue ensure a secure fit with no hot spots, while the adjustable heel eliminates heel lift. The full carbon Vent sole features an adjustable and replaceable front vent and a replaceable soft heel pad. The sole is 3 bolt fitting only.
The Single TECNO 3 PUSH is inserted on a composite base, The central mechanism creates a perfect tension balance between the shoe's internal and external side. for the lower foot, The symmetrical mechanism guarantees an excellent closure adapting on every instep. An innovative button added to the monofilament buckle, if pushed, lifts the buckle to facilitate the adjustment.
The heel retention device tightens the top of the heel cup so that the heel doesn't slide out during steep climbs or sprints. Each side of the heel can be adjusted independently, for a perfect fit. The new adjustable heel device is provided with reflex inserts for more visibility in dark conditions.
The reinforced cup that stabilises and supports the heel. Anatomically shaped plastic reduces heel slip and provides increased power transfer. Provides additional foot protection in the event of a crash.
The Sole features a light and replaceable heel pad in polyurethane to improve walkability and a replaceable integrated toe pad/vent cover. The key benefits of the Vent carbon Sole are not only superior power transfer, because of its light weight and stiffness, but also warm weather comfort. The Vent Carbon Sole is designed with an integrated vent and air channels for heat dissipation and air flow.

Mr Wright Amazing shoe. One caveat, the supplied insole is only good for the bin! They have some arch support so the red specialized insoles give me (with very high arch) adequate support. Sizing I’m in 43.5 and wear U.K. Nike 9, Adidas 10, formal shoes 8. If that helps!
Jonathan Brilliant shoes by a brand that cares about quality and doesn't focus on weight. My last pair of Sidi are 13 years old and still have loads of life left but I fancied a change so bought these and I'm glad that I did. I tried the Sidi Sixty too but even though they are supposedly lighter they just don't hold the foot as firmly. With these you feel like your foot is locked into them. Not in a bad way, just that the shoes are part of your feet with no slipping or movement. The carbon sole is really solid with just enough flex. First ride of 100km an they were like slippers. They're expensive but worth it. I'm a size 45/46 in non cycling shoes so went for my usual size in Sidi of 46.5 and they are perfect. Only let down by the insoles which are pretty rubbish. Upgrade them as soon as you can.
Mr Bishop Great fit, comfortable and I highly recommended them
Jan S Just received these shoes in size 45 from Merlin. Look great and the size is totally in line with typical Sidi sizing. I have all iterations of the Ergo shoe in size 45 as well. The wire 2 seems to be the same in length but a bit roomier over all, which is actually a good thing. First 35 mile with them yesterday in hot weather; shoes feel very stiff and slipper-like; best I ever had. The ventilation is OK, but if your feet typically tend to overheat, go for the Vent version of this shoe.
Mr de Villa very comfortable and light weight
Neal Sidi quality thru and thru. Really enjoying these.
Jonathan The best Sidi Shoe that I ever had. the sole is very stiff and the upper body of the shoe fit very well.
Adam My favourite shoes ever. Not cheap but they feel amazing to ride in. Not a single niggle even after a long day in the saddle.
