Ed from the USA I have used Speed play pedals since the early 90's and they are a perfect combination of low weight, and knee saving float. I ordered these from Merlin which had a great price. Since Wahoo has taken over Speedplay, I wanted to get another set from the original manufacturer. I hope Wahoo doesn't mess these up when they change the manufacturing facilities.
Mr Olivier I always wanted to try these engineering masterpieces. Delivered to my home in South Africa within a few days as promised. I wash shocked with covid and all doing the rounds. Thank you for great service. I was in no particular hurry and actually prepared myself for a long wait. The pedals are hi-tech with complex installation instructions. Please ensure you use the correct screws for the correct shoes. consult the fitting charts and guide. Good value for money. Funky cool hi-tech and just hip as well as just plain better than the rest.
Mr Chandler Haven't mounted them yet, but I've used speedplay pedals in the past and loved them. It's nice that they come with the aero/walkable cleats now. Shipping was a breeze and the price can't be beat. Happy customer here.

Mr C The best pedals out there, and now the cleats have walkable covers. The downside is that cleats break without warning, and it's a pity replacements are so obscenely expensive, but a little hunting will yield alternatives.
Austin Great pedals, improved by new walkable cleats. I Love Speedplay pedals, the easy 2-sided entry and low weight are fantastic. The only downside used to be that the metal cleats wore too quickly and are expensive to replace. The new walkable cleat covers change all that, no more ice-skating across smooth floors (or gouging your wooden floorboards) and no trashing the cleats on the road.
The pedals take a little more maintenance than Look style pedals for sure, but a bit of grease every 4-6 months is easy enough to do and makes sure the bearings last years.
