StevenGreat shoes, I was worried at first as the ratchet strap seemed short - however there are longer ones in. I went for a 44 and I'm normally a 43 and that was the correct decision. Great value and look good.
Mr SivellFinally found a shoe for a great price and comfort. Delivered on time. Excellent.
GDawgI've been primarily racing in Sidi throughout my career and was really impressed by what I read about these Spiuk Brios shoes. I found them to run smaller than Sidi and I will show you why. The Spiuk 43EU / 9.5US has a sole length = 27cm Sidi 43EU / 9.5US has a sole length = 28cm I had to reorder a size 44 since no half sizes are available. The Spiuk 44EU / 10US has a sole length 28.5cm Overall I like the 44cm shoes as comfort and finish are very good. One thing that is new to me in a cycling shoe that I knew from the ski industry is the thermo - mouldable feature inside the shoe meaning as the shoe warms to body temp it molds to an exact fit of your foot. Very custom and it seems to work well. I would calssify the width as being medium not narrow or wide. PROS: Excellent value for a high performance shoe Pronounced heel cup provides stability High quality construction and cosmetically appealing Extra buckle straps included Extra "cool" insoles included Stiff Sole and transmits power well CONS: Buckle release not quite as quick and easy as Sidi Heel and toe pads not replaceable No half sizes No marks on sole for cleat positioning Lastly I thought I could return the too small 43cm for a credit but when I went to USPS to ship them back I was shocked to find out for basic air mail it was $35.00. Doesnt really seem worth it for $13.00 - very frustrating that I am eating the $48.00! I will consider Spiuk again in the future but hoping they will add half sizes.
EdExcellent Shoe. Although a road shoe I use them for Triathlon and getting in and out of them is very easy. Breathable on a warm day and feel strudy around the foot. Would recommend buying a size above what you normally wear as others have mentioned. Very happy
Mr CrosslandI bought these shoes as I wanted a road shoe with 2 hole cleats for spinning in the gym. The uppers are very comfortable, fastenings good, they look great too. Love the idea of heat mouldable uppers but not sure if I notice any kind of moulding, they are comfortable though. For what I use them for they are fantastic. If I was using them out on the road the soles would be a little too flexible for my liking. All in all a great shoe and true to size. Would recommend and would buy again
Mr HallamAn excellent and great value for money road shoe. Due to having dual purpose pedals I needed a road shoe that can fit 2 bolt cleats, I found these after a considerable amount of time looking. Even more of a bonus is the fact that they can be fitted with either 2 bolt or 3 bolt cleats so if I change pedals in the future I don't have to change shoes. They fit really well, are comfortable and have a solid sole which stops any pain or pressure being applied to the base of your feet while cycling. The velcro strap and quick release plastic strap make tightening and adjusting the shoe once on really easy. Excellent road shoes, would highly recommend!
Mr WestSizing seems spot on, maybe slightly narrow but next size up would be too big.
