Mr RichardsLots of float, easy to clip into, stiff enough for most riding (feel more sturdy than SPDs).
SteveHave been using them for a few weeks now. Bought them to replace a 7 year old pair of time mtb pedals. No complaints. Good value.
JamiesonA wee bit heavy, but good value and durable.
PJRGreat price for Time pedals and whilst these are the cheapest they do, they are fairly lightweight and feel very robust. Not many miles on them yet but if they stand up as well as my previous pairs then they will be money well spent.
BundaiI've been using them for bike polo in the last two weeks. So far so good. They are perfect for this sport, solid, no failure in clipping out when needed.
DonLighter than Shimano's SPD equivalent at a similar price point, loads of float for dodgy knees, easy to clip in and release. These replace an older set of very similar Time ATAC Roc pedals which I've found to be robust and reliable.
DrummondFinally getting second pair of these pedals for second bike means I don't need to swap them between bikes. A great pedal, easy to engage and disengage and excellent service from Merlin as always
Mr Toby CrossA revelation from SPD's! no more knee ache. Just ease off the spring tension a bit and try a small bit of dry lube to start with. Very, very good.
Mr ListerI use these pedals on my fixed gear bike. They're strong, dependable (I've never had them clip out unexpectedly) and extremely durable. The standard postage was really quick too. Great product and service.
MarkymarkLove these pedals. Ideal for an old man's knees.
Mr DUCKWORTHGreat pedals. I always use Time pedals on MTB. Last ages, don't clog up easily. Smooth bearings. I've had the ones with the adjustable spring tension but you never use that function so these are better value.
SimonI've used various versions of these pedals now for over 15 years on and off road. Super reliable, especially in the mud, snow and ice which can leave other brands clogged. I always go for the cheaper version, as they represent superb value for money. In my experience a pair latss about 3 years before the wear starts to affect my foot position. Can't recommend them highly enough.
JimmyFirst time I've used clip in pedals so I was a little tempted to go for something half-way like Shimano's A530 or M324. I'm glad I didn't! I've taken to these like a duck to water! They give you much more confidence especially in the wet, which is good as their main use will be for commuting and hopefully for cyclocross later on in the year. First class service from Merlin btw, and even better price!
Mr brierleyThese are replacements for Time Atac Aluim which I had worn out, now lighter and just as good.
Mr StopforthBought a pair of the carbon Atac pedals for my real round the woods bike at Christmas and have been very impressed. Better support for your feet and no creaking unlike my old Shimano SPDs! Bought these for my old bike so I could use the same pair of shoes and although they are much cheaper, brilliantly priced by Merlin, they have exceeded my expectations on all counts. Smooth, well made with same supportive platform as the carbon model!
Mr KielyMerlin - as usual - fantastic service - great price, next day delivery what can you say! Pedals light, so easy to clip in & out of, Time quality again - totally recommended.
