Topeak Midloader Frame Bag
Designed to employ the unused space in your fame, MidLoader carries the heaviest items for your bike adventure. Constructed of lightweight, highly water resistant and durable materials, it mounts and removes quickly with velcro fasteners. Two water resistant zippered openings provide easy access to all your gear from either side.

Specification:
  • Lightweight, polyethylene/nylon construction
  • Water resistant zips
  • Velcro mounting straps
  • 3L capacity / 37.5x12x6cm / 150g
  • 4.5L capacity / 46x12x6cm / 200g
Mr JedrAs expected, lightweight, durable water-resistant material .
Mr CarterGreat bag, fits perfectly and having a zip on either side is really useful!
SamSo useful, perfect size to carry two thermoses for my lunch commuting to work every day. although the banging of the metal on metal against frame has caused a tear after six months, still I don't blame the bag, seems pretty sturdy for the money. quite water proof.
Easybike packerFits well, does the job. Not used it in the rain yet.
Mr GallowayGreat quality frame bag! Would buy Topeak everytime,
CarlA little smaller than anticipated but any bigger would impede use of water bottle on 58" frame. A quality product .
Mr cMedium is as big as will fit on a 54 Pickenflick, it will prevent a 750ml bottle being removed on the fly, from the down tube cage. That said it will carry a fair amount, it's well made and doesn't look too shabby.
Mr OSGreat bag for the price. Durable but light with a clean and easy-to-use zips and fastenings. The bag is more of a light Olive colour, compared to the dusty brown that’s shown in the images. The fastenings are well made and frame friendly, but I’d use some heli tape on a cf frame, just in case.
Mr MeeReally nicely made and practical bag. Looks really good and holds more than you’d think. Delivered quickly too
JeremyI have been looking around at various frame bags and as I already have a Topeak Backloader, I decided to go for the Midloader. I am very pleased with the bag. As you would expect the quality is very good and the fixing points nice and sturdy. Things to note are your frame size and the space you have. I have the 4 litre version and this fits my Boardman ADV9 very well. The only problem I have is that both water bottles impede the bag. The answer is a low mount water bottle, but these don't seem to be available. However, this is an issue with my particular frame and not the bag.
NigelGreat frame bag. I chose the smaller version as the larger one would obstruct water bottle access. This smaller one fits just right allowing bottle access-whilst on the move.
SvenskiA top brand at a great price. I would recommend this product. Just what I was after. Top service from Merlin too!
Mr NicholsonBest item I've bought, it's great to use rather than carrying a bag on my back
Mr CohenThe 6L is a great size and perfect fit for my touring frame. Considering a lot of the 6L packs out there are triangulated to fit the whole frame I was unsure if this one would bulge out too much when packed out but no, it's perfect and doesn't rub my legs when cycling and still allows me to use a water bottle in cage on the diagonal bar. 6L packs in quite a bit of kit for me and this was a much cheaper option than many others out there. Cannot comment on waterproof/ resistance yet as I have only used it in dry weather so far but looks fairly robust.
Paul legerAlready had purchased one of these for my track bike to hold spare tube and on the spot tools. Looks good on the bike. Bought this second one for my single speed commuter. Top notch way to carry your extra necessities when on the road. Highly recommend!
Mr CGreat bag for longer day trips, the long top straps as shown in the photos are actually narrower but still work perfectly.
PaulGood product, bit too big for MTB but fine for CX/Road bike
JDRReasonably quality bag. Slightly sloppy until it’s filled properly and it’s a shame the straps for diagonal and vertical tubes are not the same as the top straps as these are hard to tighten / adjust. I would also recommend Topeak look at providing multiple strapping positions for these to suit all frame geometry. Nonetheless good for the money and size fits small women’s bike frame size well
LeeGreat frame bag, Easy to fit and survived 5 hours in the rain without letting any water in... not bad for water resistant!
Mr RichardsGreat addition to my bikepacking setup. Used a few times and holding up good
Mr MVery spacious and durable. Only slight issue is no space for cage mounted water bottle
Luke TGreat frame bag for the price. Helpful flaps over the zips to prevent water ingress. Good, solid attachment design with the straps. Suspect a prolonged downpour of rain and road spray would see water get in but given the lower price of this compared to others on the market it's hard to fault
Mr HuettWell built and perfect size. Waterproof and easy to access. Will hold my lightweight waterproof cycling jacket and more.
MikePerfect size for a light jacket, spare tube and tools on my commuter without being too cumbersome.
Mr LegerWhen I first took it out of the box I was a bit worried. Thought it would be too short. Actually fits perfect on my single speed track bike. Since the bike has no mounts on the frame I needed a bag to hold the usual...tube, mini air pump and a couple of on the road tools. This bag is perfect for the job, fits perfect and actually looks good as well. Totally happy with this purchase. If you happen to have a long top tube you might be best to order the large size as my track bike has a short top tube the small size fits great. Would certainly recommend.
martinExcellent product for holding extra items whilst out comuting or camping
Mr YardyGreat product - only used on test rides so far, but it looks to be exactly what I'll need for extended bike packing trips
Phil TNot the best frame bag out there but great value. Haven't used it properly yet but tested fixing it to my bike, really easy and holds the bag very secure prompt delivery as ever.
Mr DulguimeTook the small one so i can fit 2 bottles on my frame and it’s great. Great for light bikepacking to bring some clothes or for commuting. Straps and the parts of the bags that is in contact with the frame is rubberized. The zippers on both side are easy to open even while riding. Totally recommended!
Mr SKUSEThis bag is nice well made and just as good as some others costing double the price. I have highly recommended it.
RichardSecure, waterproof and surprisingly large capacity. After lots of research I went for this one and was not disappointed. A really good frame bag.
Mr RenshawGot large and medium and fit perfectly in our fat bikes, all the Topeak range we are using on our fat bikes to ride land's end to John O Groats unsupported. Perfect bit of kit ...
Mr BevanLove this product! fits perfectly and does exactly what I want from it. I bought the larger one as it fits my road bike better. I've got a jacket, innertubes, pump, snacks and phone in mine. Did a 4 day Lakes and Dales loop, and it stayed dry and worked well for me preventing me from having to wear a pack. I may get a couple of compression straps to help keep it away from my knees on those days that I over-stuff it. Best price I found for any even comparable product.
DaisyThe very thing, big enough for a few essentials, delighted not to have to carry a back pack.
Mr LieuQuality item - especially for the price. Bought the 4.5L version for a size 56cm frame. Able to still run 2 x bottles on a steel gravel bike. Bag is quite light - if not very loaded, can sometimes be difficult to one hand un-zip. Water resistant, but not water proof. Generally use the Topeak Backloader and Frontloader for things that must be kept dry (as they have drybags in them) and the frame bag for everything else. Good integration with the Topeak Toploader bag. Originally bought the Blackburn Outpost Frame Bag which is expandable. However, unless you're on a 58cm frame or larger, you won't be able to access your bottles properly.
LeeTop quality product. Needed something to store waterproof jacket, arm warmers etc for coast to coast & this is perfect. Bigger than expected but can still get access to bottles. Just perfect.
PandanusGood adjustability for larger frames. Well made product.
SteveVery good size for my daily bike trips, fits well, super easy to attach and detach, uses that perfect space which would be empty otherwise. Cheaper alternatives are ugly compared to this one.
Mr CANIMOGLUGood size (3 L) for my 29 inch MTB bike....Good capacity for first aid kit and repair kit, inner tube, chain oil....
williamsReally happy with this bag. Well made. I use it for spare tubes, tools, first aid and my waterproofs.
Mr EverallExcellent bags and much cheaper than other alternatives on the market. We've just used two of the 4lt ones on a bikepacking trip and they were great. Well made, easy to attach and a good capacity.
