Mr Tan100 percent original product and fast delivery. As always Maxxis lived up to its reputation as one of the best tire manufacturer in the world.
Mr CoxFirst off item arrived quickly. A fast rolling tyre with good grip and comfort. I would recommend this tyre as a good all rounder.
Mr RileyI have used these tyres for one dry and dusty downhill session so far. They were very easy to fit, even without sealant (initially). Has good traction under load and are stable under heavy braking. Satisfied with the upgrade so far.
Mr LeesWorked well in snow at Tomintoul MTB track. Easy to put on.
Mr BurnsI live in the Lake District and whilst all of my friends and fellow riders around here are going for the burliest DH tyres available (26 or 27.5) I know that I can ride anywhere within a huge squishy, wet, sometimes dry and dusty radius and rely on this tyre to give me the drive I need. Its not super aggressive or particularly on trend in terms of tread pattern but its a fine tyre and I wouldnt swap it for all my high rollers/butchers/purgatorys. Its all I need and all I want.
Mr CrossleyFirst time with an Ardent Tyre, great grip. nice and robust. Went onto the rim easy enough with a track pump and lots of very soapy water (tubeless obvs). I've put it on the front with a High Roller at the back. Managed to put it on back to front though. D'Oh!! Haven't bothered to swap it round yet and it works just fine for the time being on chilterns chalk and clay.
Dazmondo in MalvernRecently returned to these tyres after trialing other brands!! This time tho opted for the extra protection of the EXO to counter the Malvern Granite. Mounted straight away on my Eastons and held firm with just the suds for lube even before any Stan's was added. Welcome back Maxxis!
Mr petersA good all rounder. Used in wet & dry conditions, gripped well & also roll good, easy to fit.
Paul TI've used Ardents before, so knew I was getting a tough, grippy and reasonably quick tyre. It feels less velcro like on Tarmac compared to the 2.4" advantage I took off, yet I didn't notice a loss of grip or volume on the trails. The tyre also went up first time tubeless with a track pump, which is a definite bonus.
Mr SmithOnly used for one dry ride, rolls fast, brakes well and stable in corners so seems very good, will have to wait for wet/ slippery roots to fully test. Side wall protection seem good idea as this is how most of my tyres go
Mr RobertsCracking rear tyre, plenty of grip and fast rolling
Mike McCarthyPurchased this tyre after reading several good reviews - seems to be far superior to the Specialized Ground Control tyre it replaced on the rear of my bike. Very easy to set up tubeless and is holding pressure well. Appears to roll and grip well. Very pleased.
Mr BromleyExcellent tyre. Fuss free tubeless setup on stans crest rim. Weighs 700 g on kitchen scales. Side walls seem very robust and supportive, running about 2-3 psi less than previous conti 2.4 MK2s. Overall very impressed. Can't comment on wear yet though, not done many miles yet.
