The Lightweight Meilenstein Evo wheelset is not only particularly light at just 1380g, but also particularly stiff. The stiffer the carbon wheel, the more directionally stable it is. The Evo uses high-modulus carbon fibre which, in combination with tubeless technology, guarantee razor-sharp control, unparalleled braking precision and maximum power transfer.
Stiffness
The high stiffness is additionally increased by the connection of the spokes to the hub. This wheelset Features Lightweights Pentagon hub. This patented hub shell developed by Lightweight increases the overall wheel feel and safety by ensuring that the wheel hardly twists when braking.
Construction
The use of special CFRP carbon fibre, a new layer structure and the integration of tubeless technology make the Evo wheels not only more stable, durable and efficient, but also more versatile. For the rider, this results in even more efficient power transmission, excellent handling, improved rolling characteristics and above all more speed. The orientation to disc brakes also enables more precise and safer braking performance. Despite the enormous stiffness, the comfort factor has also been increased making long rides even more efficient.
