Tubeless has transformed the way we ride, and now Stan’s is raising the bar again with the launch of Rolled Gold — a brand-new premium sealant developed specifically for road and gravel bikes.
Rolled Gold is designed for the lower-volume, higher-pressure tyres found on modern drop-bar bikes. Its formula is focused on fast sealing and limiting air loss, with performance optimised for pressures up to 100 psi. It is also injectable via the valve core to ensure easy tubeless set-up.
Faster sealing, less sealant
One of the standout features of Rolled Gold is that it requires less sealant in many common tyre sizes. A 700c x 28mm tyre requires just 35ml, compared with 50ml for both Stan’s Original and Race Day. For a 29” x 2.4” tyre, the recommended dose is 80ml versus 105ml for the existing formulas.
Despite the lower volume, Rolled Gold is designed to seal punctures up to 7.8mm at 100 psi — making it particularly suited to fast road riding, gravel adventures and racing where maintaining air pressure is critical. It delivers significantly more latex, and 3x the quantity of abrasive crystals to the site of the puncture (v’s Original) for the fastest sealing time when an issue does occur – but remains perfectly balanced with the right viscosity to allow the liquid to flow quickly to the site of the puncture inside the tyre.
How does Rolled Gold compare?
Stan’s now offers three sealants, each with a slightly different purpose. Original Tubeless Sealant remains the all-rounder, designed for everyday tubeless applications, while Race Day is the extra-strength option for larger punctures on rough trails and challenging race courses.
Rolled Gold sits firmly in the speed-focused corner of the range. It has been developed specifically for low-volume, high-pressure road and gravel tyres, where sealing quickly and limiting air loss is especially important.

Which Stan’s sealant is right for you?
If you want a dependable all-round sealant, Original remains the go-to choice. If maximum puncture protection for aggressive riding is the priority, Race Day offers the largest stated puncture-sealing capability at lower pressures.
But if you’re riding high-pressure road or gravel tyres and want to prioritise speed, efficiency and fast sealing, Rolled Gold is the new option to look out for.
