Revolution Bike Park, situated in the north of Wales, has long been known as one of the best bike parks in the UK. Featuring the infamous Vision Line and 50to01 Line, it’s not shy on big features. However, in 2023, the forest faced a tree disease that resulted in the felling of all the trees threatened the permanent closure of the park. Despite this however, the following year, the bike park opened back up with trails running, albeit without the shelter of the trees. Fast forward to 2025, and the park is now thriving with even more trails and riders.
Backyard Battle Public Day

On the 14th of June, Revolution hosted a day of riding at the bike park with riders from the Backyard Battle event that was being held close by. Being a big fan of the event myself, I had to go and get a taste of riding with the pros. I was pleasantly surprised by its transformation since the felling after not visiting for two years. While I did notice it was a lot more exposed, the trails were in prime condition. Not to mention the addition of their Continental Line which features a series of jumps shaped to perfection.

The day began with a few warm up laps up of the full hill before food was served around lunch time. In the afternoon, a jam session took place on the Vision Line in which both pro and amateur riders rode the same section of jumps. For me, this had to be one of the highlights of the day. This was because I was able to get to ride with people I’d only ever seen in videos. The day finished with a few awards for riders of the day along with a few freebies.
I think it’s safe to say this bike park has made a full recovery since it’s tree felling.
