Unwrapped the hayes brakeset and instantly fell in love with them, looks wise top notch without being OTT, now to the important stuff. They installed on my bike so simply, and ready to ride within 30 mins, done three rides with them now about 70 miles in total. They are getting better each ride love the ease of adjustment on the fly even with winter gloves as I have needed as of late the snow rain and mud and salt has had no affect on them. Have to say I am mightily impressed with them. The weight had me worried reading reviews before I purchased them, but I can honestly say not that bad and the little bit extra weight is worth the trade off when it comes to performance and adjustability.
Excellent set of brakes, far superior to the Avid brakes I have on my other bikes. Lever adjustment is so easy and brakes enhance the look of the bike.
Avid caliper adjustment is easier when fitting, but getting my head around the new hayes.
Very sharp and positive and pad contact adjustment another good feature.

Probably my favourite bike upgrade, these brakes are awesome! The only down side I've found so far is they come with 6" rotors, I've ended up getting a V8 for the front instead.
Great stopping power, lots of adjustability, easy setup, couldn't really ask for more, especially at this price.
One thing to watch, the bolts for securing the levers to your bars are a little soft, be careful not to mash the heads!
