This was my 4th shimano xt cassette. Great price at Merlin and the cassette is super. All my bikes / family bikes run these and no problems. Light enough, strong enough for everyday riding.
Light, shift great, wear well.
Very smooth and a cost effective approach to the xtr version it repalced
Costs a little more than lower spec cassettes but lightweight and very durable making it excellent value in my book!
Does the trick, slick shifting, not much else to say. Great price at Merlin!
Had one of these for 2 years on a Hope Pro 2 Evo hub and its hardly done any damage to the aluminium free hub body as the alloy spider works really well.
This must be the 3rd XT cassette that I have bought. XT is the cheapest that I can use because I have an alloy freehub, anything without an alloy carrier will chew straight through it. For me, it lasts for about 3 chains as long as I don't let the chain wear past 1.0 so good longevity as well
Great item, ideal for 10-speed single ring set-up. Good value and hard wearing. Arrived quickly too, thanks Merlin.
Doesn't groove the aluminum body on freehubs, unlike Sram cassettes at this price point, due to the granny and larger cogs ganged onto a carrier.
Great kit, light, smooth shifting and with a 32T at the front I can get up most things now :)
Replaced a slx cassette. Much better shifting (with a XT chain). Very easy install.
Light, strong, shifts flawlessly, can't fault it
Order one for a friend previously and had to get one my self! Quality, weight and price make it an easy choice. Not sure why I went deore originally, the price difference is insignificant.
Perfect for all 1x10 setups and makes installing a 40T/42T range extender a piece of cake!
Only cassette I ever buy. Top notch
I have put 200 miles and 30000 vertical feet in the few weeks since I have put this cassette on my wagon. And it shifts like a charm and sheds mud like a champ. Everything you would expect from shimano XT. I put the entire dyna system drive train on my bike and have never felt such precise shifting.
Paired with CN-981 chain, Zee derailer, Race Face Narrow/ wide ring. Worked great. shifts nice.
Lighter and crisper shifting than the SRAM PG1050 that it replaced. Really appreciate the alloy carriers that will go easy on my Hope Evo hub. This is easily one of the best bang for buck upgrades I've made.
Bullet proof. Lasts forever, shifts smooth. Doesn't mar my aluminum free hub bodies.
Well made, my first XT and it is a little lighter and shifts better than the Sunrace 11-36.
Great cassette have these on both my bikes, find it's worth spending the extra on drive train. XT always seems to be easy to setup and index and stays like that. Great price and service as usual.
Usual excellent Shimano quality and a fair weight saving over the SLX cassette it replaced. Bargaintastic Merlin price delivered super fast as always.
Easy to install, only had a couple of rides on it but silky smooth. Very nice piece of equipment. Would highly reccomend
Great cassette, nice use of mounting spiders so it shouldn`t dig into my freehub like cheaper models and slick gear shifts. Very happy
The cassette is long lasting and takes a lot of abuse out on the trail. It pairs up with my drive train perfectly and offers me 9-12 months of riding at an excellent price. Even at RRP it is as good as an XTR version.
Awesome cassette! Flawless shifting, and very light! Perfect!
Very light cassette compared to my old Deore HG62. When combined with a XT HG94 chain, a XT M785 2-speed crankset and XT front and rear deraillers the shifting is smooth and fast and there's no audible transmission noise.
Shifts great and does not weigh a tonne, always go for xt cassettes as xtr is just to much to justify.
Great delivery from Merlin as normal.
Only cassette that would fit onto my Hope Pro 2 freehub without damaging it. Light weight and great shifting as usual.
Great quality and price. Light weight . Great product.
Hard wearing and light, shifts slick too!
Good value. Great weight. All around good performance at the right price.
As usual item received very quickly.
Nice and light, probably didn't need the 36 though, especially for the light HT it's gone onto it's huge! May swap it onto my heavier bike.
Great piece of kit, light and really nice to look at!
Nice piece of engineering at a great price
Seems like an excellent cassette so far, shifts well with a SRAM chain. Bought to replace my SRAM PG1050 which did not last long. Alloy spider should be kinder to my Hope hub, the PG1050 had damaged the freewheel body. Best price on the internet and delivered free within in 2-3 days.
I now have two of these and use them on 10 speed equipped Ultegra road bikes. The largest 6 sprockets are on wide carriers so stop the hub being marked and it gives me much better gearing options for the mountains I cycle in. They work with an Ultegra (RD-6700-GS) rear mech if using a triple and (RD-6700-SS) with a compact. They shift extremely well.
The best cassette money can buy
Great price and better shifting than my current SRAM cassette!
Good weight and shifts great!
Lighter than the equivalent SRAM, great quality and no guilty feeling like killing a XTR cassette!
Light and well made. Great price
Ok, thanks, very good, very fast
Is there any cassette that matches this? Excellent balance between VFM and Performance!
After getting good usage out of an XT 9 speed cassette on my last bike, I don't see why I shouldn't get the same service from this one.
It replaced an SLX cassette which was fitted to my camber, I matched it with a new XT chain and the gear changes are now super crisp and smooth. its also lighter and looks better than the SLX it has replaced.
Also worth pointing out the rings are mounted on an alloy hub which is a must if using a Hope hub with a alloy free body to avoid damaging the free body
As always, next day arrival of items, and great price. Merlin always deliver fast.
Upgraded from SLX - Great move
Great quality. Light weight with seamless shifting.
As always, next day arrival of items, great price and no nonsense. Merlin always sort you out!
Unless you want to waste money, this is the best you can get. Super light, super smooth shifting performance.
Great as expected
Nice lightweight cassette
I did all the usual comparisons and Shimano on this size cassete is lighter weight and better priced than its major competitor.
After getting good usage out of its predecessor on 9 speed I don't see why this shouldn't give the same service, just make sure you get the 10 speed Shimano chain for super smooth gear changes.
no need to say. It's an Shimano XT.
Great bit of kit. Loads lighter than a deore 10 spd and really crisp shifting. For what it's worth it also looks a quality item.
Its like a nine speed xt cassette but goes one louder. Louder is better, right?
