Brand Focus – Niner

US based brand, Niner, began life back in 2005, just as 29er mountain bikes were hitting the trails – hence the name. The Colorado based company are fully committed to dirt, both through mountain biking and gravel riding.

From Niche…

Back in 2012, gravel bikes were a pretty small, niche-market. Niner were early adopters of gravel and seized the opportunity to gain market share in what they thought would be a developing market. Niner produce a wide range of gravel bikes with steel aluminium and carbon fibre frames as well as the radical, do-it-all, RLT E9 RDO gravel E-bike.

MTB Core

Niner produce a varied range of mountain bikes, including steel and aluminium hardtails. There’s also an eclectic mix of full suspension rigs, targeted towards all types of riders, from light-weight Cross-Country weapons, to 170mm travel full-on Enduro beasts.

Fort Collins

Niner are based in beautiful Fort Collins, Colorado. When they aren’t making some of the best bikes in the business, they can be found riding in the foothills just down the road or on the gravel roads a stone throw away from their office. And when they’re too tired to ride, you might find them fly fishing, relaxing on the patio of one Fort Collins’ craft breweries or coffee houses. Making off-road bikes is their one and only love, with their heart and soul out there on the trail or the road less travelled. Niner are 100% committed to impeccable designs & exquisite ride quality.

Dirt is the Word

When it comes to riding bikes on Dirt, this is where Niner excels. Rather than try to develop into road riding, the brand have remained true to their background and roots. US business, United Wheels acquired Niner in 2018. The brand continues its focus on premium product development including E-bikes with carbon fibre options.
