Sitting for Ages
As a long established Italian brand, San Marco has a rich heritage within cycle sport. One of the biggest names, Fausto Coppi was a big fan. Many top riders through the 20th century have chosen San Marco such as Greg Lemond. These days some of the biggest teams ride on their saddles, including Lotto Soudal.
Ideal for classic bikes, urban fixies or riders craving their saddle from yesteryear, they produce some timeless classic saddles which offer comfort, performance and style. The Concor and Regal saddles offer a modern twist on the 80’s classics. The Regal, for example, features carbon reinforced base and modern Xsilite rails. The light brown version uses two Recycled bottles to create the cover.
San Marco Off Road
While San Marco are more well known for road saddles, they also make MTB saddles. While incorporating some of the features of their road saddles, the off-road line-up utilises more robust materials to reduce scratches , tears and wearing from dirt.
San Marco Road
Not just content with heritage inspired saddles, they also produce some cutting edge road bike saddles using the latest materials, ergonomic and design thinking. The 150 gram, Shortfit Carbon FX saddle is a great example, it uses carbon rails and shell together with a breathable and hardwearing cover, the large cut out and groove aid comfort by reducing pressure and also reduce the saddles weight.
