The Merlin Cycles team have been busy racing and notching up wins in the north west region. Here’s a quick update on how the season is progressing for Debbie and Bex.
Debbie Moss
Debbie rode the National 25 mile time trial near Keswick last Sunday. Debbie finished with the fastest time in her age class and placed 18th overall against the best women time trial riders in the UK. Other top results in the last few weeks include;

Lancs RC 10 – 2nd
Southport RC 10 – 1st
West Pennine RC/VTTA 25 – 1st
Springfield Financial RC 10 – 4th (1st vet)
Blackburn & Dist CTC Spoco – 1st
VC Cumbria 25 – 3rd
VTTA North Lakes & Lancs – 50 – 1st (all time PB 2-1-38)
Border City Whs 10 – 1st
Chorley CC/NLTTA Champ 10 – 3rd
Bex Rimmington
Bex has been successfully mixing up her racing, with mutisport events as well as time trials and road races featuring in her 2021 season. Bex won the Tameside Circuit Race League event this week, almost lapping the field on the Tameside circuit. Here are Bex’s other notable results from the last few weeks;
British Standard distance Triathlon -3rd Overall (1st in age group)
Outlaw Nottingham Half Ironman (Elites) – 4th Overall
Outlaw Holkham Half Ironman – 8th Overall
British Masters Road Race Champ’s – 2nd in age group
NLTTA 10 mile championship – 1st & 1st team prize with Debbie
CTT 25 Mile Time Trial Champ’s – 17th
Tameside Circuit Race League – 1st Place
