What you need to know about our new Santa Cruz collection

We have been lucky enough to receive a load of new bikes from Santa Cruz, but what is actually in our collection and why should you be excited about it?

Blur

Intended use: XC

One of the bikes we have received the biggest delivery of is Santa Cruz’s Blur. This lightweight machine not only boasts World Cup winning performance, but also a range colourways that set it apart from your standard XC bike. Why compromise on anything but the bike that climbs as well as it descends?

Tallboy

Travel: 130mm (front) 120mm (rear)

Intended use: Trail riding

The Tallboy is a real winner when it comes to short-travel trail bikes. Coined the ‘downhiller’s XC bike’, this bike is designed to manage the trickier trails while making climbs more manageable. If you’re looking to make rides a little longer, without compromising on the downs, this model could be the answer.

Chameleon

Travel: 130mm

Intended use: Trail riding

The Santa Cruz Chameleon is the ultimate ride for versatility. Find this bike in its happy place on or off-road, uphill or downhill. Interchangeable dropouts make the Chameleon compatible with a mullet or 29er set up and as geared or fixed. Now there’s no excuse to getting the bike that suits your needs.

Hightower

The Hightower is your new go-to bike, striking a clear balance between trail riding and enduro. If there’s a bike that you want to go all-in on, it’s this one. Get that support on the gnarliest of trails, while still being able to ascend without too much toll. There’s no shortage of high-quality additions to this bike either – find our Hightowers equipped with Reserve/Industry Nine wheels and a Sram XX eagle AXS drivetrain.

Bronson

Travel: 160mm (front) 150mm (rear)

Intended use: Enduro

Aggressive enduro riding is what suits this 160mm travel bike best. The mullet set up promises grip confidence at the front while keeping the rear end as playful as possible. With its capacity for heavy hits on the more serious of trails, the Bronson calls all descent lovers.

Heckler

Travel: 150mm (front and rear)

Intended use: Trail

The Heckler SL isn’t a bike that shouts about its motor. This superlight E-Bike behaves like any other Santa Cruz on the downs, but with added power on the ups, meaning you can save your real efforts for descending. Progressive geometry, 150mm of travel and a mullet set up are all qualities making this bike as competitive as possible against your standard trail bike. This is the answer to doubling the number of runs you squeeze in on a weeknight.

Highball

Travel: 100mm

Intended use: XC

The Highball is at the serious end of hardtails. Bred for mileage, this XC bike is destined for the toughest of races. Santa Cruz promises a lightweight, efficient and responsive bike that make it a strong competitor in the face of full suspension XC bikes. Is there a better way to fuel that passion for long rides?
