Mr ParfittI'm not going to go into a long technical review of this bike. If you want that just read the professional reviews available on the net or the other excellent write ups by Merlin customers. All I can say about this bike is that I absolutely love it. Two things immediately struck me when it was delivered. First the delivery driver did not appear to be developing a hernia when carrying a large package to my house. "What's in here, a bike"? he said. I replied in the affirmative. "It's very light" replied the courier. Yes, it is very light and this becomes obvious as soon as you take it out on the road. Fellow Strava users will be familiar with their PB system on rides and on my first ride on this bike I broke no less than 32 of them. Oh joy! The second thing that struck me was when I opened the package and saw the bike. The photographs on the Internet do not do it justice. It is one great looking bike and the Matt black paint job stands it apart from lots of others. Technically everything works fine although I must admit to having a little difficulty with the gear changing. It doesn't always change first time of asking but I suspect the fault is down to me. I am 72 years of age and in my first week of owning it, the BeOne Diablo Comp road bike has not only given me 32 personal bests on a ride but has knocked at least 25 years off my age. Whoopee and thank you BeOne.
Mr SugdenGreat value, a bike that's good to go - no crummy components (tyres, saddle etc all good). Wheels solid but slightly heavy - good for commuting, will get a weekend pair soon!
Mr BurchThis is my first Carbon Bike. I took my time in selecting a new road bike and finally decided on the Beone Diablo Comp. Once unboxed I wasn`t disappointed, its a fantastic looking machine and has amazing Ultegra components. Been out for a 30 mile blast today and the bike glides on the roads. Extremely happy with my purchase and thanks to Merlin Cycles for their advice.
Shaun GellingFantastic value for money. Superb build quality and finish with no compromise on Components. I own lots of bikes and bought this one for my son and can honestly say that the build quality is up there with the best. The 45cm frame is lighter than the stated 7.9kg too. Great bike matched by the ever reliable Merlin service.
