This rear light was so good I ordered a second one for my wife's bike , you can't put a price on safety
This light is huge and very bright. Its essentially 2 lights in one with seperate buttons to control each of them.
This is definately a light for the paranoid, but will certainly get you seen.
Downsides are obviously size and weight, but also I've found that it very slightly touches the backs of my legs when on the seat post. due to its width.
Excellent rear light with loads of variations just buy it you won't be disappointed.
Does everything well. Good design. I bought it because of the double row of lights. No complaints except overpriced RRP. Why are bike lights so expensive?
Fantastic light for the money so much so I have bought two now for my commute!
Great light with excellent side visibility. The light is larger than a standard bike light, but as a result the blinking surface is larger. It appears very well made. The only complaint is the programming of the switches. Essentially each switch operates one level of leds. This creates a whole array of binking options, but using it twice a day, I would prefer to have one button which I press twice, rather than having to press each button four times to switch off. Not the end of the world but otherwise the light is perfect.
Really well made , exactly what I expected from Cateye. Bit big but great performance , visibility and quality.
Really bright with good side visibility, 5 stars for that. I don't see why manufacturers think we need so many light modes, this means you have to cycle through all the options to turn on and off your preferred setting, lose one star.
I have always used this rear light , it runs off two AA batteries and I get around 35-45 hours before I need to replace batteries. Very bright superb buy 10/10
We have all been there! It's night time, you are riding your bike in a busy town centre, it's blowing a gale and sheet rain is hammering across the road (just like this summer!) Are you comfortable that your current rear light set-up? Is it sufficient to cope with such demanding conditions, and to keep you highly visible to other road users?
If not the Cateye TL-LD1100 could help put your mind at ease. It boasts of six LEDs facing backwards and another two LEDs on either side giving you a grand total of ten. To enhance the performance of all this lighting power is the Opticube lens technology which helps focus the light from each Led and thus projects it further than non focused lights.
The LEDs are arrange in two rows of five and are independent of each other, so you can have various flashing options including a constant on mode.
The LD1100 is supplied with two AA batteries which are readily available at many late night convenience stores/petrol stations etc. Which is a plus point over usb charged lights, in my book!
The batteries are simple to fit and there is a rubber seal keeping things dry. The construction of the LD1100 appears more robust than cheaper units and has a weighty feel to it.
The LD1100 comes with two sizes of seat-post brackets, plus a belt clip device.
The only thing which could be improved on this whole light set up is the seat-post bracket, which is held in place by a single nut and bolt and requires a considerable amount of force to tighten it enough to prevent it from altering the angle you have set, every time you attach/detach the DL1100.
I have brought a few rear lights over the years, this is the best and brightest one ever. Very fast despatch.
excellent rear light at a very reasonable price for what you get.
well made, bright, aand good fixings options.
Chosen because of its brightness, wide angle visibility and low cost easilily available large capacity batteries . Very pleased.
