Andos73Not as good as the previous iteration. Where previously there was a great yawning void at the top opening there is now a constricted opening clamped at both ends making it difficult to get large items into the bag. Added to this is the tendency for the bag to want to roll either onto its front or back while trying to manage the awkward opening and load. The big front pocket with its sub divider has disappeared from this new version and this was so useful for stashing bank cards, repair kit, tyre levers, gloves etc. In its stead there is a zipped compartment along the top of the bag, tight and difficult to access. When the bag is full it's almost impossible to get into this top pocket because it becomes squeezed tight making it difficult to poke fingers in there. A gusseted pocket might have been more appropriate. Despite the claim that each bag is 28 litres capacity as previously, I find myself quickly running out of space. The inner bag, instead of having the quick and easy drawstring closure as previously now has an instruction to roll the top three times and pull the clips at each end together to fasten - crazy. One improvement is the bar along the bottom to prevent the bag curling round and interfering with the chain, something the previous design was prone to do. I'm sure the waterproofing is good but I haven't tested. I'm afraid these bags have proven too constricting, too awkward and too inconvenient for my needs and hence I have abandoned them. A complete waste of money. I shall look for something better designed and in the meantime, revert to my old Dryline 56 panniers.
