Warren The Daddy of headsets. Pretty much as long as I’ve been a cyclist people have banged on about Chris King stuff, so after 30 years I decided to put my hand a bit deeper in my wallet to see if this revered headset was ‘all that’. Initial impressions, it’s weighty, built like a battleship, and feels like it should last a lifetime. The proof of the pudding will be in the usage (MTB, Full sus 150mm forks). For the build alone I can see why it’s pricey, but only for special builds, otherwise I’d stick to my usual Cane Creek 40.
