Bont

Bont are the undoubted leaders in heat mouldable shoe technology. Originally starting out as a skate and ice skate maker, they turned their attention to cycling shoes and were an immediate hit with professional and amateur riders alike.

The shoes are designed to be mouldable to the foot of the individual; you just put them in the oven for a set time and when the soles become soft you can mould them to your exact needs. This can be done as many times as necessary until the individual is satisfied with the result and does not affect the shoe no matter how many times you do it.

With a choice of carbon fibre or fibreglass soles, both infinitely mouldable, you don’t have to spend huge amounts of money to get a stiff, lightweight, handmade pair of road or mountain bike shoes.

Bont also the unusual distinction of being the only shoe banned by cycling’s governing body the UCI for being too aero!
