Rhinomed

Turbine Breathing Aids are designed by a Melbourne company called Rhinomed. Rhinomed specialise in medical products aimed at all sorts of nasal and respiratory aspects as well as areas such sleep, well-being and meditation. Their Turbine Breathing Aids are from their sporting development division.

Unlike previous nasal dilator strips worn on the outside of the nose, Turbines go inside the nose and increase the airflow by up to 38% and this in turn has seen power wattage increase by an average of 3.7 per cent. Although we’re only talking about a coupe of mm of nasal port dilation, the effects are rather dramatic. They’ve done clinical tests and the evidence is there for all to see.

Turbines are ultra soft and are fine-tune adjustable by a little ratchet thingy. Famous users and converts to the way of the Turbine include Tour de France winner Chris Froome, Calvin Watson, Baden Cooke and Jack Bobridge.
