Sportful

Italian company Sportful have been manufacturing technical cycling clothing since 1985. The original family owned company started making knitwear in 1946 but in 1972 one of the owners entered a cross country skiing race and decided to use the company’s expertise to make race wear for it. The Sportful brand was born and was such a success they changed direction to making cross country skiing apparel and in 1985 also started producing technical cycling clothing.

 

Since then they have become a major brand not only in Italy but worldwide. Their range of cutting edge cycling clothing has won many awards for function, style and affordability while retaining a quality image. Only the latest materials and manufacturing techniques are used in construction after extensive research and development by some of the biggest names in the cycling world. Tour de France winner Alberto Contador’s Tinkoff-Saxo professional cycling team are sponsored by Sportful as well as the Italian national cycling team, giving them Olympic, world championship and Grand Tour wins over the years
