Argo R1 Light is an advanced short-nose saddle designed to promote stability while reducing soft-tissue pressure in a variety of riding scenarios even when adopting aggressive, aerodynamic body positioning. Featuring a generous central cutout, lightweight EVA padding, carbon rail, and carbon-reinforced nylon shell, Argo R1 Light balances comfort with competitive performance.
R1 Light Construction
Engineered for low weight and high-performance riding, R1 Light construction combines a carbon-reinforced nylon shell with ultra-stiff carbon rails for a responsive, lightweight platform. Injected EVA padding delivers low-profile, reactive cushioning that maintains comfort and support without sacrificing the ergonomic shape or increasing thickness. The result: a saddle that reduces weight without compromise ideal for long, fast days on the saddle.
Race Ready Support
Argo is Fiziks most versatile saddle shape, with each version suited to different riding styles. As the racing option, Vento Argo has been engineered for modern race bikes with aggressive geometries. The purposeful shape of its design helps cyclists achieve a better riding posture as the dropped nose supports the pubic ramus when the pelvis rotates forward to add power or to get more aero.
Short-Nose Stabilit & Pressure Relief
Where a traditional saddle shape encourages riders to shift their position frequently for better leverage, Argo puts riders in a more planted position, making for greater stability and better weight distribution. Vento Argo’s short length allows riders to sit further forward without placing undue pressure on sensitive areas. It also features an ergonomic cut-out developed using detailed pressure analysis and input from medical experts
