Mr kimberThese are exceptional Gravel tyres.. they roll fast off road and on. I'm running tubeless with them which makes them really comfortable off road as u can drop pressure down.. Very good puncture resistant as iv road rocky fast decent.. All round good grip..
Valley Mountain GoatTread is not as deep / tall as it looks in the images but do not let this put you off. Went out this morning for first time using them and they coped with everything I threw at them including quite wet, technical climbs. I have no doubt these will cope with anything I can throw at them either gravel or XC type riding and I am very happy. They are also 250g lighter than my previous 29er XC tyres so an added bonus there. Usual great service from Merlin with fast delivery and ultra competitive pricing.
Mr ParkerShame, I liked these tyres when I bought them. They weren't easy to fit though, even with a Topeak track pump with canister. These tyres have very little puncture protection. I've had 5 rear-wheel punctures in the last 3 weeks after only 3 months of use on my daily commute. They've shown no resistance to thorns or glass recently, so it's difficult to recommend them.

GregGreat tyres but hard to mount tubeless, needed a new tubeless inflator with more pressure to get the beads to seat. Small price to pay though, look great, hold the air once on, ride well with lots of grip
StuartGreat tyre, popped on tubeless with no effort. The extra offroad grip doesn't seem to translate in to additional drag on tar or hard pack. Would definitely recommend, I actually already have and my friend is now also running these.
