Mr JohnsonGreat brakes but unfortunately they come the wrong way round for us in the UK. You get left side front brake already coupled up and a right rear brake that needs cutting to length. They also dont come with any extra barbs or olives (does mention this in the description) so you’ll need to buy these additionally and do a bleed on both brakes. I think this is reflected by the low price.

Mr GrayGreat brakes, great price. Just watch as these brake hoses are shorter than you buy elsewhere. 1700mm is norm for rear. This is 1550mm. Front and rear didn't fit my XL orbea wild sadly. New hoses fitted and they are fine now..

Chris GAlthough not detailed in the description these were euro spec left front and right rear. The front was fully built but the rear was not to allow it to be internally routed. There was no olive included for the rear but bizarrely when I took the front lever off to swap them it had been built with 2 olives on the hose. As the brakes came in a plain box I'm not sure if this was done from factory or by Merlin themselves.
PaulGot them in nie time and look the part, main issue is the front/resr are on opposite sides to UK type so had to get shop to re-fit them which cost me 45 for the job. still decent price but something need to think about if not got the kit to do it yourself.

XT brakes Reviewi already know how good these are and when i see them for £199 i did not think i bought them when fitting i had to push the callipers out so done that with pads in using the tool made for doing that and the pad broke and half the pad material fell out ?? never had that before in 20 years. also they are not realy 50% off really you can get them in lots of places for £225 I should have checked first my fault

AndrewLove these brakes. Insane stopping power, single finger on some gnarly descents allow you to keep maximum control on your bars. As always, Shimano is easy to bleed and get dialed in!
Ian GExtra power with the four pots. Bit annoying that the barbs were fitted to the hoses with no spares included as needed to source these to cut down the hoses to the right length - so 4 stars on that basis
