Spatzwear Thrmoz2 Gloves
Thrmoz2 are revised and improved deep-winter gloves developed with a double Olympic Champion and evolved from the Glovz race gloves. They feature a premium YKK wrist zipper with an easy-pull gripper for effortless access, even in sub-zero temperatures, and have been battle-tested through northern European races by the Alpecin–Deceuninck Pro Cycling Team. The gloves integrate fold-out wind covers, now updated from a single cover to two for greater versatility as weather conditions change. They are designed for harsh conditions, performing from approximately 5°C down to -3°C.
Built from 4-way stretch thermal fabric with a soft fleecy lining, they provide significant insulation without sacrificing bar feel. Two hidden wind-blocking shells fold out from the back of the hand to add an extra barrier against the elements and fold away instantly when more dexterity is required. The main fabric contains a waterproof, breathable membrane, offering strong performance even in wet conditions.
An extended cuff insulates vital blood vessels at the wrist and includes a YKK zipper for a snug fit and smooth layering. A discreet index-finger hole allows use of phones or bike computers without removing the gloves. Epoxy gel grippers on the palm, thumb and index finger deliver confident control on bars and shifters, while reinforced zones enhance durability. Reflective detailing and muted reflective graphics improve visibility, with the overall design refined through extensive winter riding.
